Just gotta comment on the guy with the bike. It would actually be possible to recover from that. He's got more than enough air to work with to land on his feet, either by flipping or remaining upright. The bike would likely hit him in the back, though, unless he hit the ground running and was crazy fast enough on his legs to keep up with his velocity, because my guess is that he's headed forward at over 25 MPH, possibly somewhere into the low-to-mid 30s. His best bet to not get severely injured would probably be to put his legs forward to land on his feet and then fall backwards and allow the bike to do what it may. Rolling would be very dangerous to his spinal cord, and trying to run out of it would likely cause him to faceplant. Landing flat could cause severe harm from that height and at that horizontal speed. That's why it would be best to let his legs take most of the shock out of it first and THEN fall flat in the opposite direction, to take the horizontal velocity out of it and only leave him to deal with the vertical vector. If he did that, he'd definitely be hurting, and the bike might well land on him, but the bike should be no more than probably 20 pounds, and the process would save his face, spine, and neck, and cause a much lesser chance of broken bones.

Honestly, Barret's design was intentionally hypermasculine. I mean, look at the guy in the game. The dude has giant hands (well, ONE giant hand), giant feet, biceps bigger than his head, and pecs like cinder blocks. He essentially bears the design of team heavy, which is most ironic because he's one of two characters to attack with bullets, barring a few sparing weapons that would actually make logical use of his hypothetically absurd strength. I mean, if Cloud can lift and use a sword as big and heavy as he is, Barret should be able to pluck it out of his skinny hands, graft onto his arm, and carry a duplicate in his good hand.
