Right, first off, apologies for the quality of this drunk-post. I mean, I'm almost completely coherant.
Second, where is the best place you've been. For me, I would probably say Belize; good food, friendly people, great country.
So what's your favourite place you've been on holiday/vacation.
Seriously, this is the worst drunk post ever...

I've been in so many lovely places, why do I have to pick just one? There's different things I like about everywhere. But if I have to it's easy: There's this small planet on the other side of the sun a friend of mine made. It's our secret place. :3
It's got a lot of tropical forests, which I guess I like most. That green inferno, so ferociously verdant, yet tranquil. Untouched by any man. I mean, I like people, just not having them around all the time.

I've been to many places that were quite nice. I can't pick any single country, becuase there's so many great locations in each country. There's the most southern point of Europe (tiny island south of Crete that's mostly untouched), Ethesus (entire ancient Roman city in Turkey that they "found". Contains 2 large colliseums, libraries and has one of the 7 Wonders just down the road), Pamukale, a calcium rich hot spring that sits on the side of a mountain where the calcium has actually hardened into a solid white form and looks like snow from a distance, Hades (yes, the actual "Truth behind the Myth" Hades), then there's the Pyramids of course, which are simply staggering.
Then there's Saqqara, the first pyramid ever built and said to be the oldest stone structure on earth (approx 6 thousand years). Lastly, and staying with Egypt, Abu Simbel. And if you haven't seen Abu Simbel well.... just go and see it. I can't do it justice with words.
Yeah, those are some of the best. Olympia is good too.

Normal seemed like a nice town, but we never technically "visited" it. St. Louis and Chicago are both pretty nice as long as you're sane and avoid the bad areas. Phoenix is nice in its own way, too, but it's a different kind of nice. The mall there is amazing, though. It may not be the biggest (although the place IS validly large), but I swear it's packed with better stuff than other places. So condensed awesome.

Viva Fortuna Resort in the Bahamas.

I went there in high school for a school marching band trip. I took dance lessons right next to that pool. (and a beer dumped on me by drunk college guys right behind where that camera is but...)
It was so gorgeous there. I would love to go back someday.
