As the title. I'm going to France in September and Spain in November but my Feb holidays are wide open. Where in the world should I go?

From France, to Spain, to North Western Africa.
It's the only place that makes sense.

How about the centre of the sun.
Failing that, you've been to Germany already, haven't you? If not, I'd totally encourage that, and not only out of partiotism.
And how d'you get the funds necessary for all these European vacations? Even if you hitchhike and sleep under bridges (which I would imagine is how you do things even when you're at home), you'd need quite a bit of cash.

You have 3 holidays a year? Jeez...
My vote goes to Egypt. There is so much to see there and all of it truly incredible.

I like your logic but my knowledge of places to go thee is hazy. I could just rock it in Fez becuase of its rocking name.

I been to Gemany a fair bit though only parts (Berlin twice, Leipzig/Dresden area once), should go to West Germany at some point.
I live like a king in Europe because if you go to conferences you meet people from all over the place so always a place to stay. Unlike at home whee I do sleep under bridge. Also you can usually trick your funders into funding shit- like my 5 weeks in Paris is completely paid for, I get up to 50 euros each meal which is stupid.
I haven't been to the US (except in transit) since I was a child, any places that are rocking t ogo?

If you think about it, hell could be an interesting place to visit, you just wouldn't want to live there.

Try the surrounding areas of Bavaria, then, particularly to the southeast (roughly halfway between Salzburg and Munich, probably.)
Drop dead gorgeous, man. You'd have to be insane not to enjoy the sights there (including and especially the beer and the women.)
Also, Salzburg is probably one of the most beautiful cities I've ever had the opportunity to walk around.

Sweden has Surstromming. What do you have? Cause if I had that way it'll totally be Sweden at the mo.

Sounds nice, I might try it someday but I'm often too poor to go anywhere but cities whee I can raid peoples houses.
Contrary to popular belief German beer is mostly awful except Hoffbrau- the shitty stuff they export everywhee. I blame the purity laws myself.

Have to disagree with you there. (Though I will concede that Hofbrauhaus beer from that active bar in Munich remains among my favorites.)
Hefeweizen is just. So. Good.

If you come to the US, then Vegas has been mentioned but it's really a GIANT tourist trap. If you like the outdoors then we have lots of really great National Parks and then you can visit the obvious choices (New York, San Franciso, etc.)
I hear Austin is a great place to be an adult tourist in the summer (I wouldn't know sadly, I HAVE NO MONEY) If you for some reason find yourself going through the Dallas Area, spend an afternoon at Six Flags Over Texas. It's a neat place, and relatively cheap.
You could also make the trip down to Florida and go to give your money to Disney.

And if Munich's not to your taste, go west, to the Stuttgart region. I'm there at the moment, and the weather is beautiful, the state's looking better than ever.
Also, the soccer teams there are far superior, no matter what the Bundesliga rankings say.

I'm of the opinion that Australia produces the finest beers in all the world.
In fact, you should go to Australia.
I might be buying a place in the suburbs near Las Vegas, you can chill in my garage and scare the other yuppies.

I'm sorry. I can't hear you over how much of a wuss you're being. If you can't even climb Everest, then you don't deserve that beard.

Yeah that's why I said Vegas is dodgie. I would liek to do US outdoors but as far as I understand it public transport is shitty and you have to drive everywhere? Not really an option for me.

One of my office mates went to Dallas, said it was quite good.

I'm pretty sure its free to protest outside.

You do realise I'm from New Zealand originally right? Australia is where we go when we need to piss and get hammered in a desert.

Dubai? (http://www.dubaitourism.ae/) Never been there, but from what I've heard, it does sound exotic. Might be what you're looking for, might not.
No clue really, but since you haven't said what you're looking for in either France or Spain, its hard to gauge where you'd want to go.

If you the tour the U.S. Smarty you rent a car, that's how you do it when you don't have one.
EDIT: Stuff's in miles here and we drive on the right side of the road, otherwise you shouldn't have to adapt very much.

Crystal blue water and white sand as far as the eye can see, no harmful wildlife at the beach, no worries, just a perfect temperature, a perfect ocean all year long all day every day.

Dubai is a slave-nation, the economy is run by slaves. I ain't going there except maybe to free some.
I don't know what I want to do in holiday, I'm up for anything. Normally I kick around history shit and art and architecture and stuff cause thats what I'm into but I like mixing it up like a funky dj

Can't drive. Neither really had to before.

Who knows! I've kind of done all the shit I want to do so now doing stuff other people want to do.

Go to the Vatican City, take a shit in the Pope's hat and steal the Popemobile.
This is the best suggestion in the thread so far. I have suspicions the pope is a robot though and will eyelazer me.

Have you ever been to asia? Cause Japan might be fun, if pricey. Or China, though the language barriers there would be horrible. But you'd get to meet your communist breathren! Or you would, if China wasn't becoming progressively more free-market. Hmm. North Korea?

Why aren't you at the World cup blowing your Vuvuzela?
I would suggest perhaps looking into some places in Africa or South America (Mostly because those are the two continents I haven't visited) however kinda broad seeing as that's what they are; continents.
For those members who are from South America or Africa, what would you suggest doing if one was to travel or live there?
Edit: Go climbing some mountains and caving, those are always fun mini adventures. You probably are aware that the Alps and the Scandanavian mountains are pretty gorgeous places to do such things.
Volunteer holidays (if you have the budget and time) are also pretty swell.
Editing edit: Go to Salzburg and sing songs from The Sound of Music. I gurantee someone does it at least once a month (No I definitily perhaps maybe kinda do this everytime I pass through there).

The bigger cities in the US do usually have public transportation, and then there are always cabs.
When people say that the US has sucky Public Transportation you have to realize something. Our nation has lots of room. So unless you are in a major metropolitan area then the local public transportation system is kinda lax. Getting around in a city is the easy part, it's getting from city to city that you would have to really plan.
Still getting around isn't hard. We have things like Greyhound Buses if you don't like flying.
