Anyway, going to be heading down to the beach to watch some fireworks. Dinner too. Reason for the quote? Local band will be playing there, and they've got the Midnight Riders songs ready to go, from what I've been told.

And for those setting off fireworks today... make sure that if you're going to set something on fire, make sure it's cool-looking. ^_^

That's called firewire, they are using 2 of them, ridiculously easy to make since it's just large gauge wire bent and fastened around a piece of steel wool then attached to a chain. Seriously it's like 50c a shot. Manual firework!
You can use a hybrid effect for red sparks out of flaming balls by using denim material, it's quite random so you have to be careful as the pieces can fly around 30'.

Also, yes I could attach these to swordchucks. and use them exactly the same (that gif is just poi with firewire ends and swordchucks can work like poi, doublestaff or meteor at any time)
