No knowledge at all what possessed me to return and register here again. Was it fate? coincidence? The fact that I have nothing to do with my time? Possibly one or more of those.
I used to exist here. But then I got bored and vanished after making an utter fool of myself. I intend to keep my identity a - gasp - secret. I'd like to believe that for the three years since I've grown wiser (but definitely not up) and will at least be around enough to make a mark. Even if I have to carve it into someone's arm.
And of course, if I simply vanish, the public library got just a little more tight-assed and blocked another forum I planned to frequent.
Good day and try not to hurt yourself trying to figure out what's going on.

Welcome back I guess?
In order to differentiate this from the introductions thread, I'll now start the process of guessing who you were. I'm gonna take a wild and probably offensive stab and say that vore guy/gal.
Edit: Wait no he got banned not vanished. Umm that guy/girl with the avatar of the goth girl lying against a wall who got into a big fight with Blues I think?
Terisse
08-13-2010, 12:53 PM
Fortunately not. I don't honestly think I was around long enough to even let people remember my name.
(and oshi- I looked all over and never saw an intro thread. *headdesk*)
And of course, my time is up. Probably be back tomorrow.

You know, intending to return somewhere under a new name that you don't want associated with your old name is all well and good, except when your first post makes mention of the fact that you're a former member who did he doesn't want everyone remembering and thus blowing your whole cover as the forums maybe at some point while bored take a half-interest to uncover this mystery. Heck you even gave us a time frame to work it out!

Seriously though can the guessing-game bit and just say who you were or whatev, nobody is seriously going to care about whatever random thing three years ago but playing it like some kind of big mystery makes you look like a douche now which people actually might care about. TDK's here and we all know he's TDK and he'd been outright banned like eight different times and nobody cares; I can pretty much promise you nobody's gonna worry about the one stupid thing you said one time three years ago or hold it against you now.

Hi! =D
Hey TDK, remember alla those times you got banned a million years ago for telling people their faces were ugly or whatever it was you did?
Well I sure don't, and even if I did I wouldn't give a fuck. So if that's a thing you were worried about, you totally don't gotta be! In much the way that anyone worried about something they said three years ago totally doesn't gotta be worried about that, and should feel free to go on ahead and relax.

Yeah, over 3000 people joined in 2007. Simply put, trying to guess who you were is pretty well pointless, because nobody even remembers that far back and enough people come and go that unless you actually became an active member for a while, there isn't even anything to remember you for.
Notoriety is for forum regulars and the banned. You've got nothing to worry about.

I think we need to start from the ground up here. First of all there's the matter of the face you put on for the rest of the internetted world.
Lets cut to the quick, nobody is ever impressed by admissions to insanity in signature lines. In fact, it creates the opposite of the intended effect. You might want to come off as edgy and misunderstood, but all the viewing public gets out of it is "cry some more emo kid."
to truly showcase your alluring yet unhinged personality you need to come up with some form of concise personal anecdote or short parable which relates, in an utterly kick-ass manner, these qualities.
Something like "I shot a man in Reno once, just to watch him die."
Your avatar needs to be somewhat stark, almost imposing but intriguing enough that it finds purchase in the addled minds of the forum-going masses. If there's too much going on or its indistinct you'll just be pushed aside in favor of more eye catching avatars. Take for example, an animated gif of a beating human heart.
A limited color palette is essential. red on a black background would be great for the aforementioned organ.
Speaking of organs however, never use a penis as your avatar. Just, don't.
Once you've mastered the initial steps of looking really cool you can begin to up your post-game to new levels of hotness.

I'd like to know exactly what was weird, and spammy today that required the heads up.
Welp! (http://www.nuklearforums.com/showthread.php?t=38543)
It's worth noting that, while we are more apt to look the other way on the occasional somewhat-out-of-left-field post, starting up a thread like that in the midst of several somewhat-out-of-left-field posts is an easy way to get some negative mod attention in a hurry, and then everything you do can start looking kinda bad.
I disagree. I say it was ALL in context to each thread I posted in today. No heads up were in order.
Going to go with Osterbaum's assertion that you're not making as much sense as you think you are.
This is another example of how one should just say "Sure, I'll try not to do it again." or even "I don't think I was doing that, but if I was I'll try not to do it again". That's a lot easier.
It's easier, but if you can clarify your actions in a mature, polite, and reasonable manner, it's more than welcome.
In this case, clarification was necessary, though there are things like that Krogo thread that Torque would benefit from learning from in the future.

That's a pretty meaningless phrase. It's a notpology.
I was just too lazy to type 'Ok, I don't think I did that but if I did, I'm sorry and I will think about it more carefully the next time it would seem I am about to do something similar.'

This thread is gaining potential, I can't wait to see what the next act is.

Me doing your mom. Dissapointed?
e: Ok, yeah. Sorry, 'cause that was just bad.

Fair enough, though I'd say you wound up less with edgy and more just misunderstood.
Well, I was TRYING to be sarcastic... Was just trying to roll with it.

Ok, I give you that ONE, but that thread got locked down before it could even go anywhere. I was actually being honest, but in a goofy way.
Also, are we on to dicks now, because I can totally get on board with that.

It's still not really enough to merit making a thread out of, though. Like I said, live and learn.

Pretty much everything on these forums are about dicks in way or another.

To POS, kudos for not making the obvious joke there.
