... you.
Seriously, what are you up to today? Or tomorrow maybe? Yesterday even, perhaps? Me? I just did an overtime shift at work. I normally custom build made-to-order honey extractors in a work shop, but today I was enlisted to supervise the production staff in the bottling side of the plant. It was my job to set up the machinery, and I fucked up the date expiration code on one of the products we were running.
Long story short production was cut almost in half due to the amount of time it took to erase, and reprint, the date code on over 4,000 bottles. I'm going to have one fuck of a time explaining this one come monday... So, not really a great day today. But I've had worse days, and every day spent above ground is a good day. So hey, live and learn.

I usually come into work around 6:30, check my email for like a half hour then hit the snack bar. I've switched to diet soft drinks so its probably not going to kill me in the next 5 years.

Then it really depends if there's a mission scheduled, some repair parts come in or there's maintenance to be done. Sometimes I sit down at my consul and press some buttons until some guy on a radio tells me I'm dead. Sometimes we load some test equipment and tools into a truck and head onto the test range to repair and maintain the radar systems.

But mostly I troll npf while I drink my coke zero and laugh about how fucking awesome I am.

nice. lol. seriously tho, don't feel the need to only discuss work. Work sucks. Even if your job is awesome.
My girlfriend is talking to my cat right now.
I think they're arguing.
My cat is Siamese.
My cat is definitely winning the argument.

Well my personal life is pretty depressing. I usually come home, try to get to the gym, and then play world of warcraft while I cry bitter tears of loneliness.

also I golf.

My life is fairly structured at this point, despite being a college student. Get up, browse internet/do homework, at noon I go to lunch with old roommate (The same one everyday), go back to room and finish homework/browse internet, go to class, go back to room and become increasingly aggravated over love life, play WoW/Brawl/Card games with current roommates till midnight, bed.

Weekends have some more freedom involved, but for the most part there's a lot of regular activities in there (DnD group, Zombie FPS/LARP thing, visiting with family).

I'm boring. I'm going to school five days a week, and yesterday I got one of dem nifty iPhone 4's. So I spent today with a pre-paid Visa and iTunes. Aww yeah.

May end up going to D&D tonight, but that's a good hour drive away, and it's raining out...

But thanks for asking!

I had a nice breakfast with my mom this morning to celebrate us both making it home alive (I drove from Green Bay, she was on a cruise in the Caribbean dodging a hurricane the whole time, and I think my life was in more danger). After that, we came home and I walked on eggshells all day so I didn't wake her or my brother, so most of my day was spent checking my berries in HeartGold and hitting F5 online. I also had to pick up all the sticks our numerous trees dropped during the windstorm I drove home through and mow the lawn.

I did get a really great character idea, though, or rather an ability that's really great that I'll be able to apply to a character later. The character is already forming a bit in my head, but he's not main protagonist material. I'll need to add him to a cast that's a good fit later. I just don't have a good spot for him currently.

Edit: Now icing myself after lugging all our plants in because it got cold out. I'm pretty sure I pulled something. Hopefully I recover between tonight and tomorrow afternoon or I'm going to be shuffling with all my heavy bags. X(

Edit again: Actually, today's been my most interesting numerically since school started. That's pretty cool, I guess.

Worked at the movie theater. Some guys came by with a big bag of tasers and tried to sell'em to us, but I didn't buy one. I, like most people, am not in the market for a taser and don't consider weapons appropriate for impulse purchases. Later, I storyboarded up an orientation film for the theater that will never be made. It was very artistic. And I guess I sold some people popcorn and stuff around that.

And now I'm home, drinking beer after a month of not drinking, while a friend watches videos of hunters taking down Alatreon.

Should we start yesterday, at midnight? I guess around midnight I was stumbling around an apparently "Asian" club in Ottawa called Sotto, that seems to be really into the techno.

I don't have much taste for music but techno doesn't hit any of my immediate dislikes. Add in three glasses of sparkling wine, three shots of tequila, and two rum and cokes and I didn't really care if god damn Polka music started playing. So I danced and started wondering if I smelled bad because people kept moving away from me. In retrospect it was probably because I lack the motor function to dance sober, so dancing under the influence of that much alcohol was out of the question.

We left the club early, which I wasn't too happy about but I wasn't in a position to really argue either. We walked around downtown Ottawa for like an hour and a half. I fell backwards down a flight of stairs. The alcohol both caused the accident and saved me from death. The great equalizer! Someone not so drunk drove us home, and we started re-hydrating while watching a rather boring game of NHL 11 between the two sober people. Then most of my friends left, and I ate like a pound of tortellini since I hadn't eaten in about 12 hours.

Passed out. Woke up in the afternoon with just enough time to slap a helmet on my head and bike against the moderately strong wind to work. Thanks to spending an hour hydrating, my hangover was very minimal. I had so much work to do it was astonishing and depressing. Around 9PM I realized, hm, it's been like 18 hours since I ate anything. My insides were about to cave in. I demolished a foot long meatball sub from Subway, and the rest of my work shift felt like moving through molasses. I recalled various lectures in animal physiology about how blood flow changes from everywhere in your body to an emphasis on your digestive system after eating. That was probably happening even more to me.

It started consistently spitting outside just in time for my bike ride home, and I spent the 30 minute ride splashing through the enormous puddles since fuck it, I was waterlogged after 5 minutes. Got home, took a hot shower, started washing my clothes, ate, watched Get Him to the Greek. Good movie.

This is definitely a more exciting, atypical day for me, though. Good thing the thread got started today. Let's just pretend this thread got created, like, on Wednesday:

Came home from work, over-ate, lost temper with roommate, hid in bedroom and trolled internet while weeping uncontrollably to this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbbA9BhCTko).

I wake up, turn on WoW and get drunk in the game the way I can't in real life. There's so much to do and drink in the game I don't have to think about our elections last week. Then I call a friend and see if she wants to watch some silly movies or something so we don't have to think about the election. Usually she has a bottle of wine and I have a bag of chips. Then we talk about taking a walk outside but realize there's too few distractions there and listen to music and trawl the Internet for funny pictures and shit until late at night.

I expect this will be the norm for the next four years at least.

I woke up around 7 am, watched the episode of Supernatural that came on this Friday, then got out of bed around 8 and went and made some eggs and waffles. I then proceeded to eat. I did some minor housework until noon then ate me a microwave pizza.

After I ate lunch I went into my room and recorded a bit of LPing and then decided to take a nap. I napped from 2 pm to 6ish. I then went to Wal-mart and bought groceries for the week.

I came home ate a late dinner and then some fudge cake and a glass of milk.

I then went upstairs and recorded a bit more on the LP and then I posted on the NPF.

I get up at 6:30, morning toilet till about 6:45, then I try to wake up for another fifteen minutes. Then I drive to work. Or rather mandatory service. In the colon examination department of a hospital. My work consists of moving beds with people in them back and forth. Sometimes it's a wheelchair or they come by foot, but that depends on the kind of examination they get. My work time goes till 16:00, though I often have to work till 16:30. But meh. Then I drive home. At home I eat some and then spend some time on my current obsession. Usually this is making music or a playing game, maybe reading some comics. Most of the time I have the GPD chat open in the background. So sometimes I just chat until I sleep. Right now I have to translate my cousin's paper on Shakespeare's Othello into English together with my mother and brother. My father doesn't help much, even though he's a native speaker, so fuck him. (let's just say my cousin should do it herself, ahem). I can only take so much horrible and repetitive writing. And there are only so many synonyms for one word. I mean, I don't mind repeating words, but having one three times in the same sentence just reads weird. Whatever it is I do, it's interrupted by my mandatory evening shower, usually at around 19:00. Bedtime is 22:00. Or later. Heck. Then I try to fall asleep for about one hour, where I have a lot of cool ideas I never write down.

THE END.

EDIT: The above usually applies to any given weekday, just to be sure.

I am currently stuck between inspiration and laziness on making my Battle for Wesnoth campaign (apparently I lost my latest version of 1 year old in a reboot and all I have are earlier versions). It was amazing insight into game design, specifically how technology cooperates in the same way of conscious mountain lion being neutered cooperates. The whole concept sucked and I was inept at coding back then.

I've had about a year of no practice and a plan to make it better. Maybe parts 2, 3 and 4 will become a reality once I get over this hump.

And I got Fallout 3 for ten bucks at my local pawn shop and I regret buying games at full price that were less satisfying than this one (I mean, you could choose to kill everyone if you wanted, everyone, that's like a shitload of negative karma.)

Well since my day only started now, I'll start from yesterday at this time.

Woke up Saturday at 215pm due to working the night before until 6am. Ordered sushi for myself, my supervisor and one of my paramedics and showered. Surfed the net until about 415pm and then left my apartment to go pick up said sushi and drive to work. Got to work around 530pm and had my sushi dinner, starting work at 6pm. Worked my shift from 6pm-6am dispatching ambulances and organizing, editing and scanning all our reports from the day. I also watched some tv and played sega on my netbook. Unfortunately I don't have wireless over at work so I can't get online and play the MMO I'm into now.

Got home at around 715am after my relief dispatcher was late (again) and promptly fell asleep. Woke up at 215pm and now I'm surfing the net and planning on mustering the energy to get dressed while the headache I woke up with is slowly going away due to a powerful mix of pills. Soon I'll head out to work again to fill in for another dispatcher on vacation.

working weekends sucks. I like my usual mon-fri day shift.

My average school day starts at 8 or 9 am (depending on the day) and I'm in class until the early afternoon. On Mon/wed/fri I usually stay after and work on some project in some class (usually ceramics). Then I usually head home and chill on the computer for awhile, doing various nerdy things. Eventually I work on whatever digital-related art project I have (aka, Animation or Motion Graphics) or I dink around online forever, and usually end up playing around in one of my art programs (today, I learned how to make things sparkle, so I'm downloading a video of Raiden and I'm going to make him sparkle. It will be glorious.)

Unrelated: Man I am a nerd.

Every other Thursday is my late night class that is supposed to go from 6-8 but lecture always goes over so long we never get out until after 9 (for serious.)

SUMMARY: My day is mostly homework and things that kind of look like homework.

Mon/Wed/Fri: I wake up about 6am, feed the cats, head to college.
I have a Spanish class (last one I need for the college's core requirements) at 7:30 am, then it's Chemistry II at 9:30 followed by General Geology at 10:30. Finally I have Principles of Biology at 2:30pm. Hardest thing is not leaving campus and heading home during the three hour break I have between Geology and Biology.

Tuesday: Same morning routine, but I have my Biology Lab from 8 to 11am, then at 11:30 I work in the University's library for four hours.

Thursday: I have Chemistry Lab from 8-10:30am and Geology Lab starting at 12:30pm. I

I work Saturdays at the Library from 10am - 4pm

My evenings usually involve doing a bit of homework necessary for the lectures or prep for the labs, but I'm mostly doodling horrific fanart over on the MSPA forums or playing Minecraft and playing with my two cats.

Spent 9am-11am this morning playing with my voice, I'm currently trying to become a better singer. I plan on doing that a little more once my lunch settles. Then I'll go exercise for an hour or two in the garage, trying to lose some of my belly. And then the rest of my day will be filled with boredom like most days seem to be lately... I really need to get a job.
