I like using different kinds of milk for different thing. Whole is good milk for baking, lattes/caps, rice pudding, and white russians. Soy milk, rice milk, and almond milk are good with cereal. Chocolate soy milk is delicious on its own, but it's kind of expensive so it's a rare indulgence in my diet (which is probably good since ingesting soy excessively is bad for you). 2% goes into my coffee in the morning, which incidentally I always have with orange juice.

Drinking a straight cup of milk on its own though? Naaaasssttty.

Edit: And really, the idea of drinking something that comes from a cow's udder is kind of messed up. Dairy is overrated as a healthy contribution to your diet. Really it's only good cause it's fortified with vitamin D so our kids don't develop rickets if we can get them to drink chocolate milk. (No, I'm not a vegan.)

(Fun fact, if you didn't homogenize it, you could "skim" the cream off the milk since it floats to the top, and be left with skim milk). I have sampled American milk, and it tastes like antibiotics and liquefied fat. It's not any kind of hyper-expensive Japanese ambrosia milk but completely average, homogenized and pasteurized milk made by cows with somewhat reasonable standards of living.
