If you ignore someone you're not just shutting them out, but shutting out any idea they may ever have. What are the chances that someone who at one point says something you don't agree with will never say anything of value? How much convenience can that kind of diminished potential be worth?

Ignoring shows you're willing to give up on people, willing to make a lesser effort, willing to not learn new things.

Just putting that out there.
