Hopes? Just to keep on truckin'!
Dreams? I've got 6 years worth of savings lined up for a fancy sports car of some kind, model as yet to be determined, though probably a fancy Mustang GT of the 2007 variety.
Resolutions? Not really. To keep in shape I suppose, but being 27 makes that too easy to have to "work at" yet. God my laziness is going to catch up with me when I'm 30...

Hope: Stay with my lovely ladyfriend.

Hope: find a decent place to live that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Resolution: Get in shape.
Probability of completion: Likely.

I have a free gym membership for quite a while, I live within biking distance of school and work, work is on the way to school for a while, and then work will be at school. 8 km ride twice a day? That'll add up. Combine that with weight training and I should be set. Oh, and at present work is a gym/pool combo, so I can work out before I work. So yeah, the only thing stopping me is my own laziness.

Resolution: Get new passports. Canadian and Irish. Fuck yeah.
Probability of completion: 100%. My passport expires in March, and the work for the two different passports overlaps to extremes.

Dream: Fly under my own power.

I would like to get in some school. It would be cool not to be lazy fuck this time and actually start reading history. Or when the times comes, actually draw or do some painting instead not doing what I should do when applying artsy fartsy school.

Otherwise my year will be like my January and this year: no booze* or meat*, probably don't smoke weed like I did one time because it's actually quite overrated, be not-happy because that's not what I'm destined to be, I guess.

Oh and it would be cool to learn play some instrument, oh my.

*Now make some joke if you want, I don't mind, but I probably have heard it already, you know.

I'm hoping to drop to around 180 pounds, which should be around 15% BF. I may then try bulking one more time. Not sure.

I guess finding some meaning, or drive, in life would be kind of cool this year.

And aside from that, I want to get back into the dating game. 2010 was the year off following multiple bad break ups and crazy exes. 2011 is Darth SS getting back in the saddle. Just as soon as the doctor looks at the mark Krylo gave me and makes sure it's not infectious.

I woke up on New Year's Eve to a nasty thunderstorm Tornado Warning.
The sirens haven't been turned on yet, so everything is fine right where I am.
Apparently one did drop just Southwest of where I live.

Also, I've been dealing with a nasty cold for the past week. Bluh.

But as for my plans, I'm gonna do the same thing I've done for the past couple of weeks. Hang out on the internet and be a lazy fuck. I'm probably gonna drug myself with Nyquil and pass out long before midnight.

Looking back, it's been a good year. A few triumphs, a few major regrets... But that's the way it always is, isn't it? And the triumphs/regrets ratio is pretty favorable... So I'm happy. It's 20 minutes into the new year right now...
I'm not sure about resolutions, but I'm with family in Shanghai right now, I'm mildly drunk, fireworks going off everywhere (China loves its fireworks), I'm looking back and looking forwards to stuff...

Could most certainly be worse.

Mostly sounds like something I could should do. Minus the varia suit, I don't think that would suit me very well. Instead I'd want to spontaneously develop musical talent, or something.
