Well, okay, just a single video game.

I got a laptop for Christmas - a nice enough one, but I still need to pick up a mouse for it. Anyway, I'm using the arrow keys to scroll, since it's a lot easier than to use the touch pad.

Tonight, I sat down to watch Kick Ass. Pretty neat - lots of great music, especially this bit here:

Now, as I'm looking at clips, I'm trying to scroll down to read the video info, to see if it's a track on the CD and blah, blah, blah. But as I'm using the arrow keys, the loading icon - that's the dots doing the circle thing in the middle when the video is loading - they moved. They totally moved. You can play Snake.

You can totally play Snake with the loading squiggles of a YouTube video. Just use the arrow keys whle they're on the screen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtUXgoI7Y60&feature=related), and your video will play in the background while you play Snake! I suggest loading a Pink Floyd video, or to watch some Gun Kata from Equilibrium, or to find a clip of a comedian you like.

Forgot about that. It's rather fun and pretty damn challenging. Though yeah this pretty old news.

Yeah this is cool but it's a lot like how you could play Pac-Man on the Ridge Racer loading screen but it loaded up pretty much instantaneously so you couldn't really play it really.

Maybe I should go back on dial-up just so I can play Snake on my Youtube video!

Except you can keep playing while the video plays. You just have to be quick enough to click the video and push an arrow key before it begins to play.

Which means you generally have to be really quick, but regardless.
