There is actually Alot of "Superheros" in the world. Most of them are in Seattle though.
I've read a article about a fella that uses green colored tear gas and has a 50 pound Kevlar Trench coat...He also visits kids in hospitals and personally protects Toys for Tots toys before they are shipped off.

Our world is a little closer to becoming Watchmen.
Good god, we're gonna be living in Alan Moore's mind...

All we're missing now is a naked floating muscular blue man with divine powers and SCIENCE! Among other things.

Interesting stuff. I hadn't heard anything about this before. It's pretty surreal.
The thing that cracks me up most about interviews like this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Esf4oOYgvNU&feature=fvwk), are the stupid questions. Like, "why do you keep your identities secret?" We've had masked heroes in our cultural milieu since the early 1900s; I think everyone should know the answers to those kind of questions by now. Even if they've never really been applicable to real life before, we've been exploring these issues is fiction for nearly a century!

It's not in the spirit of the superheroes though if not even one of them can hide their identity just with domino mask. :|

They aren't superheroes, Superheroes fight Supervillains damnit! And till one of them saves the world, or at least part of a city, from some convoluted scheme with a long ass speach, they won't be!

Are they saving the world/large part of the city with the speech, or does the scheme have a long-ass speech?

You forget that the vast majority of people don't follow comics and/or superheroes deeply enough to know all that.
You know, "Kid's stuff" which is why every time some grimdark hero or some hero story that analyzes or deconstructs the genre gets some mainstream shine it's still treated as "ground breaking" or "A new type of hero" by the media despite the fact that these days it's harder to find a straightforward optimistic Superhero story than some deconstruction or "gritty re imagining"

There's a couple sites and forums where "real life" superheroes get together and chat about the particulars of what they do.

He really wasnt though.
Mm, unless I forgot something:
Red Mist was a villain.
Big Daddy was a psychopath killing out of vengeance.
Hit Girl was a brainwashed child, killing for fun.

Both damnit, Scheming villain gives a long ass speech, hero saves day then gives long ass speech.

Nope.
Big Daddy was a psychopath killing because it let him live out his superhero fantasy.

NOPE
In the movie, they just cut out the part where he makes the confession that he was actually just the same as Kick Ass. If they had added the scene in, it would still fit absolutely perfectly.

He's nuts, what he thinks about himself is hardly relevant.

Which means it didn't happen.
Which means NOPE IT IS STILL CORRECT.
Yeesh, this isn't rocket surgery. If it doesn't happen, it only follows that IT DOESN'T HAPPEN

This here Cracked article explains why Kick Ass should have really just not have bothered, and why he was in fact, a terrible superhero (http://www.cracked.com/article_18684_6-movie-heroes-who-actually-made-things-worse.html). Read number 4.

Yes.
Except those of the comic book the film is adapted from. There was two of them dressed in carpet of bright primary colours.

wasn't the point of Kick-ass that it was just all-around awful? That's pretty much the only way I can interpret it that doesn't include the creator being a terrible writer/human being, granted, he's done a good job(you know I've forgotten his name, but I remember him writing some comic about jesus that ended with the devil using ten dicks to rape some kid for seven years)
