Those folks just can't catch a break.
In any event, looking up images and video about Yasi got me looking up images and video of nature phenomena. This included [you can find various things just by searching] the following:
sink holes (http://www.commonsensejunction.com/xtras/big-holes/big-holes.html) (egs. Great Blue Hole, Glory Hole (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-K_8R03jIZI) [no, you jerks, not ones in bathroom stalls; though these kind are also man-made], that one in Guatemala)
the "Door to Hell" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGHxVW1NbrQ)
black holes
tornadoes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCI1u05KD_s) (big ones from Manitoba, for example, came up a lot)
cyclones/hurricanes -- generally just going for timelapse captures from satellite footage here
random (http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1881770_1881787,00.html) things caught (http://www.pcworld.com/article/134186/in_pictures_the_strangest_sights_in_google_earth.h tml) in Google Earth
I am thinking another topic to peruse videos and images of will be lightning, but I am going to catch a few hours of sleep now.
In an effort to make this a thread, please feel free to post links to neat/scary/interesting nature videos you have.
And, in tune with the original purpose of me looking for hurricane video, say a word for Australia.
