Yes, again...

Anyway, the sign-up site (http://comic-con.ticketleap.com/comic-con-international-attendee-registration-2011/)is madness. Basically, the only way you're going to get your pass, is if you constantly hit refresh. At every step of the process. (Yes, this includes submitting your credit card info.)

I hope that my credit card wasn't charged multiple times as a result, but if it was, I know I can get that cleared up after the fact.

I doubt this info will be all that helpful, as I doubt many of you people were even planning on going, but I just thought I'd mention it all the same.

Yeah, they've been having a lot of issues with the sign-up process. Passes were supposed to go on sale last November, but it kept crashing.

Yeah, but the 2nd party that they handed off registration to isn't doing much better (which is what I'm talking about). On their own Twitter, they tell you to refresh.

@Comic_Con fans, if you see an over capacity message hit refresh. We are under heavy load right now and it should smooth out. #sdcc

And I think I heard somewhere that they're using Amazon.com's server specifically because of the issues. Still took me over an hour to sign up. And because I was worried they would sell out of the package without Preview Night, I opted to up Thurdsay, Friday, Saturday & Sunday passes individually.

Definitely want to go to this some time. Maybe 2012.

Yeah well, expect a feeding frenzy. Every year, the sign up process has been getting more frantic. For example, this year all the tickets sold out in a day.

True, some tickets might be cleared up in their system after the fact (the way things were, I expect there were some false purchases).

And the last 2 years, they've sold out of the 5 day pass (with preview night) at the convention.
