I don't know if anyone else has been noticing this, but lately a lot of people have been using ridiculous exaggeration, specifically exaggerating the range of things an action or actions applies to. Take this tweet from Jeph Jacques.

"Time to write all the scripts #AllofThem"

I have seen a lot of writers, webcomic artists, etc using this in informal situations (ie: Twitter, blogs).

I think, and I say this in the least presumptuous way possible, that it is because of me.

You see, some time ago I was sitting with some people waiting for the bus. I vaguely knew them, and for some reason they were discussing how many girls they had each slept with. Finally they turned to me and said "Pete, how many girls have you had sex with?"

I turned to them with an utterly straight face and intoned dramatically "All of them."

Since then, I have started saying similar things (akin to the aforementioned quote from Jacques), and it slowly spread through my friends and people I associate with. It was several months after it began spreading that I noticed many people using it.

I am a pop culture icon.

I started a Rubic's cube trend in high school...well actually A friend started it by showing me how to solve one...but it was kinda nice to start a trend when a few years before these people blindly following it where the ones mentally and socially tormenting me...

Pyros may or may not have been key in the creation of the verb/noun? "confuzzle" (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/confuzzle).

But not the visual trick that has come to bear it's name. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crnj10thAAA)

Why did you ruin this excellent thread

He probably spent weeks preparing to create this topic, recapitulating moments of his life and imagine how his popularity would soar after the truth came out

Now that kerensky has crushed TDK's spirit and possibly hooked him on MSPA does that mean we can go home now?

'cause no one's done it before Hussie, right?

But no one cared before then.

With a single swift stroke I shall not only crush TDK's dreams, but also snatch away ALL of the free time of everyone reading this thread.

Yes, All of them. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AllOfThem)

That's an useless trope even by TvTropes standards.

It did show me this gem, though:

Katie Couric: What newspapers do you read?
Sarah Palin: All of them.

I invented all the inventions. All of them.

Coincidentally I also invented patent fraud.

Similarly, I invented confirmation bias a couple years ago. Back when I first noticed it.

I'm not going to lie, I'd lol if you said that to me in person. In fact, I'm totally going to steal that if the opportunity ever arises. I'll give you 10% of any profit that I make.
