Sheen is fucking crazy, no doubt... but honestly? Guy seems like a dude with a LOT of money under a microscope, so i guess everyone would look bad, but... i don't think he is full of shit... dude is crazy, but not full of shit.

Here's what some girl who isn't me thinks about Two and a Half Men (http://thehathorlegacy.com/two-and-a-half-men-men-men-men-manly-men/).
Yeah about the only time I can remotely respect Charlie Sheen is when he's playing a character that isn't exactly like him. He's very good at it and I wish he did it more. Maybe now he will have time.

Quick recap, in the form of a question:
How much cocaine did Charlie Sheen do?
Enough to kill Two and a Half Men!
Here's what some girl who isn't me thinks about Two and a Half Men (http://thehathorlegacy.com/two-and-a-half-men-men-men-men-manly-men/).
Jeez, what a bitch. :I
And she's completely ignoring that the show used to be a lot better before Jake was a douchebag of a teenager.
And yes, *clearly* Charlie is meant to be a role model. His behavior doesn't FREQUENTLY bite him in the ass or anything. The point of that episode isn't that you SHOULDN'T do what Jake did.
Anyway, I think that Charlie Sheen is kind of a fuck-up, but he's at least a funny fuck-up.

He comes off to me like he knows this and that he is amused he is still alive.

And yes, *clearly* Charlie is meant to be a role model.
From the article:
No one would look at this show and seriously think these characters are to be emulated, I know that. But the damage is still being done. It’s a this is how guys are and isn’t it so funny! and a wink wink nudge nudge boys will be boys kind of destructiveness[...]
So the sarcasm (to say nothing of that insult) is kind of unwarranted.
Yes, the people who wrote this show probably broke some ribs patting themselves in the back, congratulating their cleverness at doing a show constructed entierely of pure sexism and still making it seem moralizing by also making it into a schadenfreude comedy.
Still, every character on the show is an expression of sexism. Any objections to Sheen's character being a total sleazebag in the show itself come out of the brother, who's motivation never have to do with the sociopathy of it all. The brother is depicted as a stuck up, bitter square, and that's why he resents fun loving Charlie. And, if he's less of a sexist caricature of a sexist than his brother, he certainly doesn'y profit from that, does he? Having the latter take a pratfall at the end of some episodes certainly doesn't change the basic nature of the cast of characters.
Almost every sitcom dishes out punishment to their characters with little regard to "karma." Especially this one. Good riddance to it!

Seems like he's have something like the opposite of survivors guilt for having taken that much cocaine and survived...like survivors pride? Yeah, let's go with that. Especially when he acts like he he's from another world or something with the tigers blood and Adonis DNA. Guy is crazy.
That said, Two and a half men isn't dead. Sheen was just fired. They probably gonna replace him or carry on without him.

I don't see the second statement being mutually exclusive with the first. Sheen's character seemed to provide all the friction and motion to the plot.

Yeah, all the characters as far as I remember: His mother, his brother, his nephew, his maid, his various girlfriends, even his ex-sister in law; they all exist mostly so he can play off them. What are they going to do, invent a twin brother who no one knew lived and who kills Charlie and takes over his life without anyone noticing the difference?

My local eyewitness news has been running some sort of Charlie Sheen-related segment literally every single night since this shit started. And it's not like there's anything to say about this that wasn't already said a day after it began.
This nonsense is getting as bad as when the Pope died.
Guy seems like a dude with a LOT of money under a microscope, so i guess everyone would look bad
He's also a serial domestic abuser.

He supposedly has a "Michael J Fox" clause in his contract where if he's not on the show for any reason, he still continues to make what he would if he were on the show. I don't see them continuing the show if it means they have to continue to pay Sheen.
I smell a legal battle. (http://dailytopnews.net/588/charlie-sheen-i-have-a-michael-j-fox-clause.html)

Responsible, Thoughtful Nation Decides to Ignore Charlie Sheen Situation (http://www.theonion.com/articles/responsible-thoughtful-nation-decides-to-ignore-ch,19647/)
LOS ANGELES—Calling the situation "none of our business" and "not worth a second of our time, quite frankly," a responsible and thoughtful U.S. populace uniformly decided this week to ignore Charlie Sheen's recent outbursts, saying they had far more important things to focus on than a sitcom actor's personal troubles. "When Mr. Sheen's public meltdown began, I immediately recognized how a Hollywood star's crisis could be voyeuristically appealing, which is exactly why I said to myself, 'I am better than that; Charlie Sheen's attention-seeking behavior undermines my intelligence, and the sooner I ignore it, the sooner it will go away,'" said 41-year-old Denver accounts coordinator Margaret Atkins, who along with the rest of the nation has paid no attention to Sheen's situation, and has spent the majority of her time concentrating on the unrest in Libya, the collective-bargaining debate in the Midwest, and the health and well-being of her own family. "Not only have I chosen to ignore Mr. Sheen, but thankfully so has the American media, which has once again shown journalistic decency by only reporting the news that people legitimately need to know." Charlie Sheen was not sought out for comment.

I don't see the second statement being mutually exclusive with the first. Sheen's character seemed to provide all the friction and motion to the plot.
Well, while Sheen is central to show, it's Chuck Lorre's show and so long as he writes and it draws ratings, CBS won't care how Sheen's character is replaced or removed.
I'm not saying that it's going to be a hit without him (I'm not sure how it was a hit with him), but it's definitely getting another season without Sheen.

It's kind of like how "8 Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter" whose basis was a cranky father harassing his daughter's boyfriend continued despite the fact that John Ritter died like halfway through the second season and so there was no longer any reason to watch it. And yet people did for some reason.
It's kind of like how they will continue making "*()&*& My Dad says" for five seasons after Bill Shatner dies. They'd just change the title to "&^%*^ My MOM says" That's how accepting the general populace is of ridiculousness, I guess.
So "Two and a Half Men" will just be referred to as "Men" for the rest of its short run, like it already is.
Full Disclosure: I never watch(ed) any of these three sitcoms, BTW, I think the last "sitcom" I watched every day was "Curb Your Enthusiasm" until I saw pretty much 90% of the episodes.

well, Two and a Half Men was not a bad Show... it was surely Formulaic and character progression was as slowly paced as it gets (and sometimes it went one step forward and two back) but it had decent jokes every now and then. But yeah, 90% of the show's Charm was watching Charlie being completely removed from common reality with his ultra-party life style

What "character progression" was there, though? It seemed the same every week. Kind of the point of sitcoms, the characters stay the same but they are put into different situations.
By the way, did Charlie Sheen's antics actually affect his ability to act on the show or did CBS fire him because of the negative publicity? 'Cause if there is anybody I kind of just about expect negative publicity out of it is Charlie Sheen, it's his "thing". They probably shouldn't have hired him in the first place for their "family-oriented" sitcom (does anyone else find it confusing that CBS is the network known for being the most worried about the "image" they project as far as morality and so on and yet have the most violent/sexually scandalous shows? FOX for instance seemed to actually move away from their heady Married with Children days into safer waters in conjunction with their conservative moralism stance via FOX News [Family Guy not withstanding], whereas CBS's shows have gotten more and more sexually provocative. Take for instance Mike and Molly, it looked very bland, I watched part of one episode and there was like this ten minute conversation on the use of sex toys between the two main characters culminating in the one guy saying "Have her use a feather on the bottom of your scrotum" or something along those lines. It doesn't seem to conjoin very well with a channel famous for their stupid Hallmark Hall of Fame movie-image with the American public).
