So yeah, I'm just in a mood where I'm both self-deprecating enough to be morbidly curious and validated enough that not much anyone could possibly say is going to phase me (between getting an interview offer from totally out of the blue from a bank and hearing from one of my teachers that I'm still able to pass a class I thought was a total loss, I'm feeling pretty confident right now).


So let's start by me throwing a few things on the table:
1: I know I'm seen as a know-it-all.
2: I know I have strong opinions.
3: I know it pisses people off when I talk about game stuff "from a programmer's perspective." I know this will not go away until I release something.


So, throw it all on the table. I'm ready for both barrels, and if I'm not, I can just run back to FFWiki or something until I'm done crying about it.

Edit: To be honest, you hardly seem like a jerk, Blues. Annoying, maybe, but not in the "wow look at Blues what an insufferable asshole" way. You just seem too... wholesome to inspire that kind of opinion.

More importantly, why do you care? If you're truly a jerk you end up getting warned and then banned so you'll know. Plus its the internet so the opinions of a bunch of strangers shouldn't affect your life.

But no really Blues, there's no opinion I respect (not agree with, respect) more often than yours, as you've almost never gotten offensive or taken things personally. You're helpful to other people on the board and all around one of my choices for MVP (I'd have to say Synk and CJ, at least that is before Synk sold out).

You are impassioned, don't back down just because somebody seems to know better (but even more importantly you generally know to stop when you've no idea what you're talking about).

Finally, I've never been pissed off by your gaming perspectives, and can tell you generally put a lot of thought into your posts, something other members can't say (*cough Non cough*).

I mean hell, you've got your own name color (and it's not "banned red"). Pretty obvious you've established yourself here as a pretty cool guy.

As for Blue: I can't really fault you for saying, "Oh, as a game designer", or, "Oh as a programmer", except that it sounds like you're the only one around evar who is in the same field.
