So, long story shirt (See what I did there?), my little sister wants a tee shirt with a silly thing that I did for her birthday, and I figure if I have the money, I might do it. Does anyone know where one could get such a thing done cheaply, in good quality? The iron transfer things are sort of a last resort, because I don't want to have to deal with a lack of transparency/being unable to make a background.

check out my Signature, go to the main site. You can make the item yourself and have it printed and shipped to you. You even get a small discount since the item is for yourself. The quality is pretty good and the price is one of the best i've seem around. Plus, very trustworthy. No BS printing. Straight ink on fabric and very comfortable clothing, check it out.

Sweet, thanks man!
Do you still own rights to the designs and such afterwards, or do they do that silly thing where they're all, "Hey, we print your stuff, but then we own it"?

No, your art is your art. You CAN if you want (but it's optional) create a free store and sell your design. They have a setup price per item, and you just mark up from 10% to 90% profit on it. But if you don't want to, your product can be made not available to the public, so only you can make it and buy it

Sweet. Also, is there any way to print different designs in the same batch, or is it a minimum order of 12 shirts per design? I'm assuming the latter, but it's worth asking.
Also, you have some nifty ties. If I had more occasions to wear them, I might pick up the tribal one/the dragon one.
There are places everywhere if you look around that make t-shirts. They're usually like ten, fifteen bucks a shirt, any design you want. Silk screened.
Like I live in the middle of nowhere and there's two such shops here.

I never worked with Batch, but as far as i know of it, you can make multiple items with the same design, or you can order multiple copies of the same product (buying in bulk), but you still can buy one single item of anything.
If you mean like, buy multiple shirts with the same design but in various colors, you can do that. Just edit the item, but those are individual purchases, at most you can save on shipping by getting it all together
Also thanks =3 i love my ties

This IS the optimal choice though, when there is an actual physical shop you can see and touch the material before putting out money, which is always a plus. Online should always be the next best thing

How can you order single shirts? It's telling me that there's a minimum order of 12 tees to print.

Oh i see know... you went for Screen Printing. That HAs a minimum order of 12, being the cheapest order you can make US$35. For units you need to used Digital Printing. Which is minimal order of 1 or US$12.95
The shirt i bought for myself is one of those. Digital Printing, white shirt, cheapest type. I was really pleased with the results. Washed a few times, used quite a few times, the ink has not washed off, the colors are great and the fabric is quite decent

Aah, alright, thanks.
Edit: Canceled my crazy expensive order. That's nice not to blow a lot of money on. :P Can you get the digital printing done on anything but white? I know nothing of this process.
Double edit: Ahah! I have figured this crazy thing out. So, I can get one in black, for like 23 bucks. Hrm. I might just pick the bulk screen printed stuff, and spend a lot for a lot of shirts. XD
