So I'm a musician and I need YOU, the fine members of NPF to create lists of 8 scales, out of the following:

A, Bb, B, C, Db, D, Eb, E, F, Gb, G, Ab, (There will be four left over)

And one of each of the following types of scales:

Major
Natural Minor
Harmonic Minor
Melodic Minor
Dorian
Mixolydian
Whole Tone
Blues

A Major
D Natural Minor
F Harmonic Minor
Db Melodic Minor
C Dorian
Gb Mixolydian
Eb Whole Tone
Bb Blues

Thanks!

e: Oh and as for helping you study: get off the internet.

You're missing the point a lot, I need lists of these scales written by other people, not trolling.

I just picked scales on how the words looked cause I know very little on music:
Bb Natural Minor
F Harmonic Minor
G Mixoldian
Gb Dorian
Ab Whole Tone
C Major
B Melodic Minor
E Blues

Music is the universal language.

I thought that was *Jazz Hands.*

On a lighter note, B flat.

Can someone teach me everything important about differential equations, like, before tomorrow?

Namely, how to convert a set of equations solved using eigenvectors that involve i into a set of equations that have no i involved, using euler's formula. I know there's a simple way that it all translates nicely, but I can't find it in my notes anywhere.

rpgdemon. Hey, rpgdemon. (http://www.khanacademy.org/) Don't know if that actually has something along the lines of what you're looking for because I didn't understand what you're looking for. Really, anything above basic algebra is gross.

So, you start out with a matrix, and solve it for the eigenvalues.

Okay, so, you'll get eigenvalues of, say, i+-2.

So eventually, the equations that you'll end up with are:

Y = Ae^(i+2)t + Be^(i-2)t
X = Ce^(i+2)t + De^(i-2)t

How do you convert that?

That's a whole lotta talk for a list of 8 things.

Uuuuuuh what is the context of your question? Like are there boundary conditions?

rpgdemon

Boundary conditions are really easy, it's mainly the getting things to work out well before that. But I think I get it maybe. But don't be discouraged from trying to help.

Take it to PMs, for christ's sake I don't think I can be any more obvious about trying to get you to stop hijacking the thread.

Sorry, I had assumed that opening a second thread for literally the exact same topic would have been frowned upon, and your troubles seemed to have been solved by Smarty.

While you're a mod, so it doesn't really apply, I was mainly thinking of this rule in thinking that I could use a thread that was for mainly the same topic, but for someone else, but for a question that I had:

This especially applies to the "I started the thread, therefore it is mine" mentality. Threads on this forum belong to the community, not the person who begins the discussion.

In any case, I'll take it to PMs.

I asked for lists.

I received a list.

That is a singular of the thing I requested plurals of.

ALSO, it's my job as a moderator to keep threads on topic, and when the topic of this thread is literally "post lists of this one thing" and not "help everybody with their homework," I am going to intervene regardless of who started the thread, but your insinuation of mod bias is pretty adorable anyway.

Additionally, your tongue-in-cheek "apology" (not even that, really) is duly noted.

e: thread = disaster area for all parties involved, and I've packed up my horn for the day. Thanks go to Smarty for reading comprehension.

Feel free to make a thread for general finals assistance.
