MEET GEORGE JETSON!

*musical interlude*

HIS BOY ELROY!

*musical interlude*

DAUGHTER JUDY!

*musical interlude*

JANE, HIS WIFE!

*musical interlude*

...BUT IS THAT REALLY THE TRUTH?

Ladies and gentlemen, I present, for your consideration, this diagram:

http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb22/Kerensky287/jetsons.jpg

With our modern, futuristic knowledge of genetics, we know that red hair is a recessive gene. That means that both George and Jane have two copies of the gene for red hair. Now, Judy MAY be excused, since she is a super-hip teen and everyone knows white hair is all the rage in the future...

BUT WHAT ABOUT ELROY?

His hair is blonde! Where did that come from? Not from George, I say! And those beady eyes, that bulbous nose? Neither is present in either George NOR Jane!

Where does that lead us?

Jane Jetson is an adulteress. (Is there a code for text that is on fire? I think there should be a code for text that is on fire.)

What does this mean for the Jetsons? We may never know. George apparently never noticed his son's utter lack of any inherited traits, and unless the boy's http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb22/Kerensky287/barney.gif turns up somewhere... the truth may never be revealed!

DISCUSS!

Dude, this is the Jetsons. With all their futuristic cogs and sprockets and automatic walkways, we don't know that the laws of genetics apply to them as they do to us.

Talking dogs and robot maids, man. Current logic doesn't apply to these futuristic supermen.

I could've sworn we had a [glow] tag at some point.

Are we, for any reason, assuming there's no such thing as gene tweaking in the future?

The laws of genetics always apply!

Blonde is even more recessive than red hair, I think it is the gene for pigment is just turned off by another gene, technically they are not the same gene. Blonde is more than possible in families with red hair and is actually fairly common. As for Judy she is clearly a "platinum blonde", a color not possible using the primitive color scheme of Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the '60s, so it is rendered as white.

EDIT: I mean just as an example my aunt (black hair) and my uncle's (red hair) kids, three of them have blonde hair and two have black hair. My aunt is a large part Native American (probably 1/2 to 1/4, I don't know exactly), frankly it would HAVE to be a separate gene that turns pigment on and off that is the culprit, not the actual color gene, or they would all have black hair.

They adopted Elroy because they knew he could serve as a distraction (by supporting this theory) while they run their underground assassination business in hopes of buying Mr. Spacely's company. Fortunately for them, nobody knows where the bodies were vaporized.

No one pointed out the worst thing about this all: The dog's fur matches whats her face's white hair.

Jetson is probably the most conspicuous assassin of all time, since he has continually tried to murder Spacely by pretending to screw up and sending Spacely through a wall or whatever, and has always failed, compounding his screw ups. It's like failing at failing.

Clearly Elroy is the assassin extraordinaire, sent to infiltrate the Jetson family for some nefarious purpose. Look at him giving that probably-chocolate ice cream to the dog.

Wouldn't the robot make the best assassin? It's a robot. With a sassy attitude, I might add.

I'm pretty sure Rosie went berserk once, but didn't actually accomplish much.

Looks more orange to me.Any future where Orange is an acceptable mainstream flavor for ice cream is a future I want no part of.

I doubt GlaDOS would stoop down to being a house maid, so she can't be the robot.

Housemaid is her cover. Pretty sure Mata Hari was a housemaid to kill somebody one time or something (I base this on absolutely no knowledge of Mata Hari).

He's got the walk-on-ceiling boots to pull off some dastardly deeds.

I just can't stop noticing that Rosie is touching George's butt.

Clearly a temporal switching at birth with the Flintstones.

They did have a crossover once.
