So the decision falls to NPF! What should I do?

I think that was the most awkward thing to me when I turned 18. After years of lying, suddenly I could do those things legally. Then a younger friend asked me to buy beer for him once and that was when I realized "Holy shit, I'm the adult now". Blew my mind.

Yeah, pre-18, I was all like, "SCREW Y'ALL, I'M LYING ABOUT MY AGE ON EVERYTHING.", but now I'm still confused whenever I do my actual age.

Also, having a credit card is weird. I prefer using my debit card whenever possible, since I'm actually spending money rather than going, "HEY MAN I'LL PAY YOU BACK LATER." Well, actually, I preferest using cash, since I'm actually paying in cash and get to know how much I have left in my wallet. Anything else feels pretty uncomfortable. I've gotten into the habit of paying with groceries on my credit card though, so that I can build up credit rating.

I've been to ones where it's only if you're stageside that you have to give them money... if you're elsewhere, such as the bar, you don't have to.

Either way you end up sitting in a an area where a group of men have raging boners they are not allowed to touch, the beer is too expensive, and the best you might have is a couple of girls who's job it is to talk to you like you matter. As long as you keep buying the overpriced beers, or tipping the ladies at the stage.

Really being 18 isn't worth a damn these days. There is no such thing as a good 18 and over club, and being able to smoke isn't ANYTHING compared to being allowed to drink. Twenty-one, that is the birthday that matters.
