Would I be subjecting myself to a torrent of abuse if I were to say I like both Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy 13?
EDIT: And to answer the question, probably when I first saw the soft-core porn movie "Bikini Carwash Company" (as lame as it sounds, but hey, back then internet porn wasn't as crazy-everywhere as it is now, so you took whatever boobs you could get)

My childhood ended when my dad got rid of my N64 (whose library of games that I owned at the time included Ocarina of Time) to buy a fucking PS2.

Looney Tunes are horribly racist and violent and ruin the minds of young children!
...actually it's probably just that Warner Bros. keeps such a tight rein on that particular copyright that it's extremely difficult to actually see Looney Tunes cartoons on TV anymore, even cable channels.

What is the difference between innocence and ignorance? We're all like children, confronted with a wall of learning that is like a library filled with books in many languages. I think Einstein said something like that.

The Looney Tunes show IS AN ABOMINATION.
They totally derailed Lola Bunny into a psychotic bimbo.
Bugs and Daffy are relatively unchanged, except for the lame-ass sitcom-y feel of their episodes.
Yosemite Sam also got hit with the Character Derailment gun, as did almost every other character in the Looney Bin.
But Granny got A KICKASS BACKSTORY.

The classics can never compare to new ones. It'd be like comparing The Three Stooges to that new Three Stooges movie (what a horrible idea that is).
Wait, Lola was derailed from being what?

Lola never had a personality outside of The sports girl. Loony Toons is one of those things that cannot be brought back as it was without doing poorly. It's aged just way too much.

Yes I'm aware that ignorance and innocence can mean different things. I'm suggesting that they sometimes mean the same thing. I'm sure you don't need me to quote from the dictionary to prove that.
When Snit died.
If anyone watched YTV, that kids network thing, way back when, they'll remember Snit, and Phil, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uP8_g8AQ7X0) and the girl. The last I remember of my childhood, it was watching YTV's "Fright Night" what with a special phone number you coulda call and win stuff.
But we - my brothers and I - were watching Are You Afraid Of The Dark (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qTrgCWpLlM) - in the basement. The basement had no reception, so every time the toll free number came on screen, we ran upstairs and were seconds too late. We went downstairs and waited until after Beast Wars (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ds7NBsHxBZE) came on, and the number was displayed again.
Wait, Lola was derailed from being what?
Everyone remember Space Jam? Lola was a badass.
TLTS' Lola is just... no. Just no.
