Okay, now I have a teeny tiny bit of an internet addiction, and it has led to an awful lot of insomnia, getting to bed late, not getting enough sleep before a workday or another day full of activity that requires being well rested.

So this is the thread where we notice people are online at indecent hours and tell them to go to bed! Be mindful of timezone shenanigans, I happen to know a few NPFers who browse the forums from across the Atlantic, and thus are several hours ahead of me (i.e. at time of writing many of you might be waking up at this hour).

I still haven't gone to bed, cause, you know, I work night shifts. Swapping my schedule back and forth between up all night, and up all day every 2-3 days doesn't seem very wise to me.

I feel I should pay more attention to the general discussion forum when I waste my sleepless nights on this site, 'cause I just saw this thread now.

But on that note,

Pssshhh, 1am is nothing. The nights I stay up 'till the sun rises, and then get an hour or two of sleep before going to class, those are when you should be telling me to go the fuck to sleep (I'd link the classic reading by Samuel L. Jackson, but Doc beat me to it)

I find it funny I wasn't on the list because I was up till like 4 last night. Sometimes the only way I'm posting at the same time as some of you is because I'm up in the long, dark hours.

I am bloody nocturnal!!!

Also I stay up late to protect the rest of you from fairies.

Sleep is an emotionally draining experience for me, consisting almost entirely of dreams about the people I care for telling me how terrible I am. I try to avoid it, and subsequently have more time to do important things like watching youtube videos and arguing with people on the internet.
