By now the original paradox has become a 'part' of the alpha timeline. Along with RPG's efforts to fix it. Attempting to go back and undo the original paradox would negate RPG's efforts to fix it. Which would mean you'd made a splintered, doomed timeline.

Well yes and no. Technically at some point the universe would just give up trying to make sense of it all and reboot by making it so everything never happened. Then again we might reach a point where we have so many paradoxes that eventually it will cause a temporal singularity that reverses the first paradox in the first/last place

It's ok guys, I fixed it all properly now, I've shunted us all into our own private bubble universe, temporaly de-synched with the outside verse where causality can freely produce an infinite number of paradoxes without failing and where times arrow can run in all 5 pertinent dimensions uphill both ways.

This doesn't really help us, but it does protect the rest of the multiverse from our insanity, which is really the best thing for creation and I'm astounded this procaution was never taken before now.
