Oh my goodness I love clothes. I love them so much. Especially cute/stylish ones. Leggings, skirts, accessories shoes... I love them all.

One of my favorite sites is LemonCookie (http://lemoncookie.com/).

I would kill for these shorts. (http://lemoncookie.com/shop/shopdetail.html?branduid=74715&special=3)

I like clothes that are, in order:
1. Cheap
2. Durable
3. Utilitarian (has pockets, traction, low weight; resists elements, nonrestrictive, doesn't make noise, minimal loose dangling parts)
4. Comfortable

And that's it. I have no actual taste. Shit can look like a hobo smells as far as I'm concerned. Help an uncouth brute to understand the attraction of fashion?

I try my damnedest to dress like a super-hero in a way that isn't wearing a costume. I am also extremely poor and almost never buy new clothes but when I do, that's what informs my fashion decisions.

Minieties? Bowties?

You think you know a person and then they turn around and endorse incorrect neck adornment.

Minus the bowties and fake animal print I like a lot of what's been posted here. Especially the blue blazer with the camel skirt.

I can't say I really have a particular style, its mostly a hodge podge of things I like & things that are functional.

I do like this sweater (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002RL82BE/ref=oh_o03_s00_i00_details)pretty well. Mostly because I think I only decent in sweaters. Long sleeve shirts just tend to look wrong (or at least feel that way). For a winter cap, I wear something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/PMV220-Unisex-Womens-winter-duckbill/dp/B005OL3F7A/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1321378520&sr=8-4

Except it has earflap things. Don't mock it too much, since when it comes to winter hats, I haven't seen anything that does a better job of keeping my head warm, yet not looking like I stuck a mop on my head.

Aside for that, I tend to wear jeans or kack pants.

I keep an eye out for what suits me, but I've no legitimate idea what that is. So, I stick to what's comfortable & occasionally try something that I think looks good.

Remind me to make a tower with my hats, and have it finish in a bowler. I don't have them at hand, I only have a boater hat and my bowler hat right now.

This one time, I was like, "Let's see what this fashion nonsense is all about," and I ventured into fashionable places on the internet and they were all like, "You can't wear loose jeans" and "You need three different belts" and "You can only wear plain black or plain white t-shirts," and so I said "Fuck it, I'll keep wearing my clothes from high school," and lived happily ever after.

I dunno what I'd wear. Maybe something with a bit of use to it, utilitarian like what was mentioned. Then again, you can't beat a good three-piece suit. If I want to feel spiffy, a white button-up, black pants, fancy shoes and if I'm feeling extra spiffy*, one of my father's old work ties. To add a little pizzazz, I'd carry a cigarette case around with me, because you know why? Fuck yeah. That's why. You know what else? Shades! That's right. Keep em in my breast pocket, then flick them out and put them on. That would be the start of a perfect day for me.

All this hat malarkey aside, I have never in my life worn anything besides t-shirt and jeans when I'm like "okay time to put on clothes to go to class or whatever". I dress up when required (for presentations and what have you) or like, if I'm going to a steampunk con (for a different value of 'dressing up') or something.

As much as I'd like to say I would wear a suit every day if possible because it looks spiffy as hell, I am exceptionally lazy and driven entirely by comfort when I've got to get up and go do shit. I lack the motivation to actually put on a suit every day. I barely have the motivation to put on pants in the morning most days.

Every single person who said they wear a bowler hat; You don't look good, and the rest of us are embarrassed to know you.

As for me? Man, if it fits you properly you can make anything look good. Today I'm wearing a pair of jeans, and crisp collared white shirt, and a dark red sweater over top. Wear a pea-coat over top because Saskatoon is damn cold, and I went to school accompanied by a chorus of "You look good today."

I will say this though: A girl being well dressed can take her from "Meh, she's cute," to "I'll be back I have to stalk that girl until she gives me her number."* And I do not mean dressing slutty.

*don't stalk women. If you are currently stalking someone, stop. Go forth a never stalk again.

I've recently picked up some casual sport coats, once of which I've taken a fondness to, and have been wearing for the past few days. It's nice in that it's not super-dressy, and has pockets and actually is useful/warmish.

I also have a wool tweed sport coat, which I ended up having to wear for like half a month, since my sweatshirt was missing.

I wear red and black. That way you always know "oh fuck, it's that freak who only dresses in red and black, let's all pretend we're busy so he won't talk to us".

They just can't handle my good looks. I also sometimes wear porno shades because those are objectively speaking the best looking pieces of eyewear one can buy in the western world and if you disagree you just go wear your silly hats. I'm not going to judge you.

Man I clicked on this topic thinking "not much for me in here, not very fashionable, I'm a suit and tie guy, probably not going to post" but I forgot that obviously companies are going to show off their fashionable fashions adraping beautiful women.

So therefore best topic ever!

Fashion is good! Everyone should try to look their best and it's not too hard! Really you just need to put a little effort into finding clothes that fit and match.

Lately I've been going with jeans, but then a dress-shirt and sweater vest with a matching blazer. I'm still a little too big for the jacket I have unfortunately but I can still pull it off. Doing an only slightly dressy look is nice becuase it looks good but is still super comfortable.

Here are a couple of points from my personal 'basic fashion' checklist - Make sure your pants are the right length (they should never ever touch the ground - this one is hard for me becuase I have the shortest legs in the world. Seriously, it's impossible to find 28" length jeans), and if you where a suit jacket or blazer closed, don't fasten the bottom button.

I'm pretty much not fashionable ever. I'm in too many messy art classes that get clothes dirty. (I've had to result to using turpentine to save my fancy coat once, which is really really dumb)

But I like to look at fashionable things. Usually I prefer stuff that isn't really suitable for every-day wear. Like this dress. (http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_kxosmwQByu1qaoc8ro1_500.jpg)

There's a limit on emulation before it shifts from "nice thing to wear" to "costume." Zelda is a step too far. However, I'm with you in that all women should wear dresses because I am very adamant that every woman looks better in a dress.
