Just spent a quiet day/evening in the city. Drank a bit, actually feeling a bit drunk for the first time in my life! It is weird. Fireworks were nice. Singapore really knows how to party.

It has been quite a year! Not necessarily good, but probably necessary. I got over a lot of stuff that needed getting over. Screwed up, got another chance. Found out I was bi. I've learned a lot, and I'll make the best of that in the coming year.

This is probably about 8-14 hours ahead of most of you, but that's timezones for you!

Anyway, when you do get around to it, happy new year to all of you, best of luck in 2012, may all your endeavors be prosperous and all your sexual partners be really good lays

Yesterday consisted of me working 13hrs on the ambulance with a dickface partner who wouldn't stop bitching about his relationship-fail (you can tell how much shit I give). I then got to dodge semi drunk retards driving on the roads. Spent the rest of the night with my boyfriend watching tv.

Today I woke up, I'm alive, healthy, have a job, family, friends, people who love me. 2012 is the shit so far!

I had tea, cheese, love and fireworks with my aunt, her hubby and their seven children, including my best friend and favorite person in the world. The best part: The talk in the dark when you're lying next to your best friend and drifting off to sleep at about five in the morning on a brand new year and your voices are the only things in the world.

It's going to be a great year I think.

He's an EMT, I'm a Paramedic. Please, please, please don't call us ambulance drivers, it's the most degrading thing you could do. We don't just drive an ambulance, we're well trained medical professionals. That's the equivalent of calling a nurse a shit cleaning pill crusher.
