I was thinking somewhere around the Monterey Bay in CA! It should be accessible to like, well, at least everyone who's around California, and maybe Funka and Poch could come from Nevada, and maybe one or two of you out in like Canada or Michigan or Ohio or where ever who don't mind makin' a bit of a trip?! And then we could drink wine and barbecue and go sailing and swimming and generally live it up and have a real good time!

Really the what I would need to be able to participate are two things:
1. Have this at a time I can attend. I'm finishing my exchange in late june, so I couln't do it before that. I am unlikely to be working afterwards, since nobody will hire anyone for half a summer. I will have to take a couple of courses, because I need the credits. Courses at my uni. rarely have obligatory attendance however so this shouldn't be too big of an obstacle.

2. Money. Surprise surprise. Unfortunately I wont be able to get cheap tickets (like was until now) next summer anymore. So that could be a problem, since flying is expensive. I might be able to figure something out though, but before that I'd have to know where and when and all other costs involved.

Actually, with enough people wanting 'in' you could pretty much own a cheap-o house in that area. Some of the shit I'm finding is under $150,000; Kickstarter that shit.

Edit: Okay what the fuck is with these prices, seriously. I just found an amaziballs spot, $199K, acre and a half of empty land. 20 minute bike ride to the water. Can't decide if I'd camp on it or just 4-5 of those bitchin' Tumbleweed houses.

I'm enjoying this too much for someone who won't actually be participating in any of this but hot damn, California.
