Once a year major companies divert time and resources from more productive things to troll everyone with access to the web...

So, what is going to be 2012 Haul? Let's share it!

So, we all know Google Maps has an 8Bit thing going on right?

Also, the Browser Extention Adblock now replaces all ads with Cat pictures!

What'u find?

This reminds me of that time Adult Swim's only concession to April Fool's Day was to rerun the first episode of Fullmetal Alchemist with fart sounds throughout.

Having a DVD set of Trigun, please specify what that Wolfwood episode is. I want to know why it's so infamous to have earned the title of "that episode".

Anyway, I haven't come across any other name-worthy April Fools' jokes beyond the ones listed in this thread.

I got home and turned on the television to see Tom, Tenchi, classic commercials, Outlaw Star, that, holy shit. It was glorious.

Blizzard this year seems to be doing the following:
-- play as a Starcraft supply depot (http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/games/supplydepot/)
-- Zergotchi authenticator (http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/games/zergotchi/)
-- BlizzKidzz (http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/games/blizzkidzz/) educational games

I think previous years have been better.

Hahahahahaahaha.

Multiple endings, each influenced by your choices and color-coded for your convenience! (Further epic endings planned for post release as downloadable content.)

It's just too easy! Love it!

Haha okay I laughed when she smashed into the table. I'm surprised they didn't exploit some funny dance animations on Ezio if they were going for 1:1 motion though.

I hear that Toonami aired the final episode of Yu Yu Hakushou or something.

I always wanted to see that one. D:

Thinkgeek has a few offerings, naturally. (http://www.thinkgeek.com/) None of them quite equal their Squeez Bacon bit from a few year back, though.

The Maddox one was very understated this year. He usually does a whole site makeover. However, I felt it reached a very high level of satire despite this, or perhaps because of it.

Apparently xkcd has set up a system that loads one of any number of region-specific boring, unfunny comics instead of just the usual one boring, unfunny comic for everyone.

Getting the joke and the joke being funny aren't one in the same.

Yeah that would be a joke that would never stop giving, is the thing. Turn on HTML for one day and I'd have been cleaning it up for three months.
