So here's the thing: I've been drinking.

SURPRISE!

But I spent the night with me pop and me mam, and we talked about the John Butler Trio concert that my dad and I went to (which was fantastic (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt9rFTKG1G8)) and my mum talked about Cecilia Bartolia (of whom I know very little of ) but the point is alcohol.

YAY!

I stayed up the whole night and talked with me mum and dad about... stuff. About my dad and this girl in the Bahamas that he'll probably hate me brining up at some family dinner with me mum present. The point is that... wait, was there a point?

POINT!!

He's like The Count, but with less friends, you see (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAz7Dk2r3e4)

Memories. (http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u59/Poetisch/581638_10150886793059892_651479891_9466078_1624597 316_n.jpg)

Now I saw the "When Did You Lose Your Childhood (nuklearforums.com/showthread.php?t=40535&)" thread, but that was ages ago.

And it was depressing. (nuklearforums.com/showthread.php?t=40544)

And it didn't have John Butler in it.

But THE POINT in my thread is all about your mum (and/or dad) I just spent a lovely evening with my dad talking about nothign and I can't type worth shit and I wanted to know what was the lovliest memory that you had with either or both your mum or dad.

I also want RaiRai and ProphetX to post in this thread, but I'm drunk, so I'm just typing whatever.

But, for reals, your parents may be dead and gone and in a better place, or alive and in a horrible place, but please, tell me a happy memory involving them.

QUICK, IT'S ALMOST MOTHERS DAY!!!!!!!!!!

My dad always goes full-hog when decorating the house for Christmas. Interior, exterior and seasonal music on the speakers. I always like seeing that when I head home for the holidays.

I have a much better relationship with my mother then father. I Think it's because I KNOW my dad more then my siblings. I did have to live 8 years alone with him.

I don't really like digging though memories to find good ones. Mostly because it's rarely a good memory in hindsight.
