So anyway, I'm going to this thing today. Sorry I didn't mention anything prior, but we're getting a new software system in at work & it slipped my mind that anyone might be interested.

Just checked in, was informed they did this last year too. Might be something worth looking into next year.

Hmm, too bad they can't dig up Colin Mochrie.

Wayne Brady and Drew Carey are too busy with gameshows.

They need to combine into a lovely amalgamation.

I've seen the Colin and Brad one before. It's quite entertaining.

Just some notes I jotted down afterwards, free form & no spell check...

So the evening started off with a discussion of things seen on Rutland's streets. *Pajama pants was the first thing that was discussed. *I thank my stars I don't live in Rutland.

The first game was something out of the Shawshank Redemption. *With Greg delivering books, Ryan was the Warden. *The guy who wasn't Chip, & I don't remember his name, would shout out 'something different' and they'd have to change the scene.

Greg went from serving 30 years, to three weeks in a span of a minute.

Chip & the other guy sang a love opera to a mortified insurance saleswoman who clearly had stagefright.

We got songs of mowing (by Bruce Springsteen & Neil Diamond, but I can't remember details of any others.

Sound FX scit involved Not Chip & Ryan dodging trains. *(No, I don't understand either). It was supposed to be a dangerous activity that was NOT skydiving. (Got the impression they did that one a few too many times.)

I couldn't follow the theater styles, since it went from the crusades, to Elizabethan lit, horror, finishing with Spamalot

Needless to say, had a hard time following that one.

Firstly, Snake, for shame! What kind of a snakepost is that, really?

Secondly, he's right, it's sad to see Ryan and Colin not in the same skit show. What happened? Did they have a falling out or something?

On March 28, 2007, Mochrie and his Whose Line costar Brad Sherwood hosted part of the Press Correspondents' Dinner with the President. At that event, Sherwood and Mochrie featured Deputy White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove rapping. Rove's only line was "MC Rove". On August 29, 2007, it was announced that Mochrie would host the Canadian version of the game show Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?. The first of five episodes aired on October 25, 2007. As a result, Mochrie became the fifth member of the American Whose Line? cast to become a game show host, after colleagues Brad Sherwood (The Dating Game and The Big Moment), Greg Proops (VS., Head Games and Rendez-View), Wayne Brady (Don't Forget the Lyrics! and Let's Make A Deal), and Drew Carey (Power of 10 and The Price Is Right).
Since 2002, Mochrie and Sherwood have intermittently toured North America as a two-man stage show called "An Evening with Colin and Brad," playing primarily in small theater venues.[17] A DVD of their performances, "Colin & Brad: Two Man Group" was released on March 8, 2011.

It sounds like Colin & Brad have been working together since 2007.

I heard that Whose Live is it Anyway did a show the previous year, but I got the impression it's newer. Colin & Brad enjoy working together well enough, and I don't think you could combine both groups that easy.

Seems like Ryan and Colin have indeed performed together somewhat recently.

Though it's a shame this thread hadn't come out sooner. Colin and Brad actually did a show a few months ago very close by to where I live, which is surprising enough. Wish I could've gone.
