It's my birthday! Whoo!

That being said, I don't want a present. Not really. If anyone is so inclined, I'm asking for a good deed. That's it. I want you to do a good deed - an actual, honest, measurable good deed rather than, say, a SMB good deed. Not a good deed where you refrained from punching some dude in the tube because he sang along to his terrible music. Something that you actually do for the benefit of someone, something or a group of people.

Just do one thing, post it here, and make me smile on my birthday.

It's my cousin's birthday too, and she's getting a movie she's wanted to watch for over ten years but that we found you can only buy used on VHS, except I managed to download it. That's a good deed, right?

Dude, The Hobbit isn't -that- hard to get a hold of. It's playing in theatres still.

I know it's not much, but I'll donate some change, in your name, into the next Salvation Army kettle I find.

And by that I mean I'll say "Cheers, Seil!" as I drop in my quarters and nickels, much to the probable confusion of the bell-ringer on duty.

Well, I'll think of something tomorrow when I'm out. You'll have to get a delayed birthday wish.

I introduced viewers of my Livestream channel to the cheese that is 60s Batman. Much smiles were had.

Dude, The Hobbit isn't -that- hard to get a hold of. It's playing in theatres still. Finding a good pirate recording of The Hobbit in 3D and 48 frames per second - if one condoned such things - would probably be easier than getting hold of this mid-nineties made-for-TV sci-fi oddity, was.

And by the way the present was a success. Kind of like I dug out a childhood dream she could barely remember, gave it a name (man it's easy to impress people who don't know how to work the Google machine) and burned it on a DVD. With a hand painted cover. I don't mean to brag but it was like the best deed ever.

So how did your birthday go, pink man?
