For my part I'm ringing people on Skype and cheering them up by being awesome so I'm like the best christmas gift.

I'm working on Christmas (Eve and Day) and New Years (ditto) yet again, so I'll be spending proper Christmas with a skeleton crew of a few co-workers. I did, however celebrate an Early Christmas with my family over the weekend so we could be together. So I already got all my presents!! :D

My holiday haul included a blue striped scarf and a flapper-esque bucket hat, a t-shirt with a flying pirate ship on it, some Tom Baker Doctor Who DVDs (one of the story arcs written by Douglas Adams, heck yeah!), some cozy socks, a brooch for my winter coat, and a Steam gift card (which I've already spent on Scribblenauts Unlimited :D ). My sister boxed her gift to me in a container with the IT'S A CARTOON! tv logo from the Aquabats Super Show on it, which was rad. Keeping that box forever. I also spent an Amazon gift card left over from my birthday on a Person of Interest Season 1 set that dropped from $60 to $16.

I've never really cared for Christmas as an adult (as kid it was like a day in heaven, but that was then, and this is now).

It just comes done to being one big giant cash in for stores and companies.

And so I personally don't celebrate it beyond a pic or two every year to check my rate of improvement. If someone likes Christmas and can see the good in it, then I respected that. But I personally just don't care about it.

Aside from my little sister being hyper active. Things seem pretty quite here. Was busy putting up the tree and cleaning, but now it pretty calm.

Also it seems dispite my feelings about this holiday, I still ended up getting something (and techincally early seeing as I was pretty much told up front about it). A wireless card for my PC (yes, I have a windows 7 64-bit PC with no Wireless card). Not that I care about that kind of thing, but it's a nice jester none the less.
