So, here we are, 2013. Which added up goes to 6, which means absolutely nothing.

So, first of all, that your year goes better than 2012 regardless of how good or bad it was, and that it's good and awesome.

That being said, how was the passage for y'all and how's 2013 treating you so far? :dance:

2012 was okay. I wouldn't say it was my best year. (that goes to 1997 through 1999) But it was fine non the less.

Well hopefully by the end of 2013, I'll atleast be decent at drawing with a stronger understand of anatomy.


It may also be the year where I leave this place... maybe... I'll see how I feel after my 2 month break from NPF.

Well Hawk, at least you GO to parties and/or talk with attractive people. I don't know nobody local at all, and the people I have started to hang out with as of late are all a city away. Or younger than me. So one man's definition of failure is another cat's definition of success.

But this year seems to be a good one. Hopefully, I will get a job, hopefully my Mom's house get sold and we will all move up to the big city to live in a Condo and things like jobs and social life (and where to get my brands of food/clothing/carrepair) will become easier to obtain.

Folks got a huge christmas bonus, so I get another semester of CPCC game design college, and I've a lot to hope for this year, compared to the dread of last year.

2012 is actually in the running for my worst year to date.

Or, at least I feel that way, I dunno if that's objectively true or not.

Anyway, fuck if I'm gonna let that keep me down. I'm alone for New Year's this year, but you know what? Fuck it! I'm cooking myself my own damn New Year's dinner, and even if it's just for one, it'll be delicious enough for ten!

On the menu:

-Chicken Adobo
-Blackeyed peas (with ham hock)
-Rice
-Fudge for dessert.

Chicken is simmering and will be done in 45 minutes, Blackeyed peas are done, and Rice goes on in 20. The fudge is cooling, but I didn't get the consistency quite right. Mom and I tweaked the recipe, but we worked it out ~sea level (sacramento) and I think what happened is I didn't account for the altitude here (Reno). Still tastes good, just not quite as gooey as it should be.

BUT STILL, I AM SO PSYCHED FOR THIS CHICKEN ADOBO YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA!
