I was under the impression they are more successful because they tend to shoot themselves, whereas women tend to overdose. Not sure of the statistics on attempts.

Our culture is messed up, combine that with the increase of parents raising obtuse shitbags that reinforce those problems and it's really bad.

The whole macho thing would be far less problematic if our culture rewarded being smart or having good character. The surgeons, scientists and soldiers deserve the respect and attention that football players get.
