Here's the thing: I haven't gotten repped in forever. And I'm amazing! I should be repped for every post! So what's going on?

Is it a forum thing? Have we banned or silenced all the reppers? (Because my theory is that we've banned all the extroverts and the loudmouths who actually had dissenting opinions and made conversation so now all that we're left with is me, who is amazing, and a few people who are almost as amazing and some people who don't even talk at all and can't be amazing because they don't give themselves a chance to shine.

But I am comedy gold! Okay, maybe not that Zanzibar thread.

Or that one post.

But the rest? Amazing.

So how come nobody talks anymore? We're all just sitting here, agreeing with each other. "Oh that's awful." or "You go, girlfriend!" (Which is a very versatile phrase, don't you know.)

So here's the thing. We all have to do something rep-worthy. We have to tell a joke, we have to do a little song or dance, post a picture of a meal we made that was delicious (along with a recipe.) You could do what I'm doing, and show off your moves on the stripper pole:

Hey, I've repped people 3 times this year alone, and had rep 4 times in return. It's still a thing!

Mostly I only rep people who either make me laugh or say something that makes me wonder if perhaps they had been reading my mind pre-emptively.

I think the last 230+ updates have made it clear that The Dreadful is where it's at now. It's what all the cool/handsome kids read anyway.

I wish peeps could appreciate the comic that's actually being updated though. It could use the support/gems! (because one day it might also be gone and then the site won't have any new updates :( )

(also I like the characters/setting a lot more than I did HIKYM's. Not that I dislike kung fu stuff, but Westerns + Lady Characters = my cup o' tea)

I could swear I repped you for the Street Fighter fan comic with Sakura. No? I know I was a fan of it. If I could rep you for both The Dreadful and that comic, I would. That would also involve throwing around unintended rep for people who don't need it. Hell, I went for years on only one gem, so don't feel bad.

So yeah, all the reppers disappeared. This includes all the folks that went to a certain other forum that some people dislike(no, not 4chan, that's an image board). Not to mention, it's no fun when those certain people are only bound to rep each other. Repping went out when the mods disabled it for a while. Then it became only positive rep and didn't seem as fun to some people anymore. (On the bad side, I still have that negative rep from people years ago. It's like an itch I can't scratch and everybody refuses to touch.)

EDIT: Oh and MS, I just gave you a well deserved rep for what I missed with your comics. You deserve it.
