Because avoiding the gym won't cut it on its own. Whether you want to drop, gain or maintain weight, a good meal plan is essential.

This ended up floated my way on Facebook. I ended up using 9 cups out of a 12-cup cupcake pan.

Ingredients:

Batter
1/2 cup butter
2-oz dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp red food coloring
2/3 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt

Cheesecake Mixture
8-oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/3 cup sugar
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions: Preheat oven to 350F. Line one brownie pan/cupcake tin with cupcake liners In small bowl, melt (microwave) butter and chocolate together in 30 second increments. Stir until combined and very smooth. Set aside to cool for a few minutes. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and red food coloring. Add chocolate mixture and stir until smooth. Add flour and salt and stir until just combined and no streaks of dry ingredients remain. Pour batter into lined wells. To prepare cheesecake mixture, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until smooth. Distribute the cheesecake mixture over batter in the pan. Swirl in with a knife or spatula. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until brownies and cheesecake are set. A knife inserted into the cheesecake mixture should come out clean and the edges will be lightly browned. Let cool completely in pan.

Here's how mine turned out (minus the one I had already eaten).

What's on the table for your tables?

Margarita pie

• 1 graham cracker or shortbread pie crust
• 1 8 oz. container frozen whipped topping (Such as Cool Whip), thawed
• 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk, chilled
• 1 12 oz. container frozen margarita concentrate

Before we start, I recommend a chilled metal mixing bowl for this, for obvious reasons.

1. In a large mixing bowl, quickly and gently combine the whipped topping and chilled condensed milk just until blended.

2. Fold in the frozen margarita concentrate. Again, work quickly so that all of the ingredients stay nice and cold and do not start to become soupy.

3. Pour filling into the pie crust and freeze for at least 6-8 hours before serving. Store leftovers in the freezer.

Here's one I prepared earlier. This is for a small (2.5 quart) slow cooker

Fixings
2 lbs stew beef
1 red potato, chopped
1 yellow potato, chopped
1/2 large yellow onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups baby carrots, cut in half

Seasonings
1 cup pureed pumpkin
1 packet Lipton Onion Soup powder
3 cloves garlic
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup hot water

Place beef in bottom of slow cooker, with veggies layered on top. Combine seasonings in food processor before spreading on top of vegetables. Cook on high for ~5-6 hours. Serve alone or over rice.
