Hello, Everyone! - A General Status Update on Kimmy

I figured it's been a long-ass time since I made any posts here or talked to anyone from here other than like two people. So, I figured I'd post about what I've been up to and see if anybody else is up to cool things.

So, last year got really rough. Stayed in a friend's home in a situation that made me miserable and eventually suicidal. I finally left near the end of May, but that was a really short notice leaving. I actually slept in a public park that night, and another person sleeping there was kind enough to share one of his blankets with me. I'm really fortunate for the kindness of others.

So, Fifthfiend rescued me from that for a week, and then I flew ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY to live with Magmarashi. That's when life really turned around for me. I'd already been on hormones for a month when I moved in with Mags, and living with him and his wife, Dutsi, ended up providing the stable, safe environment I needed to cope with second puberty.

After a couple weeks and some Twitter shenanigans, Magmarashi, Dutsi, and I started dating one another, and I'm still their girlfriend/pet today. It's the longest and best relationship I've ever had and we all take very good care of each other. Plus, Mags is an amazing cook and everyone who hasn't had his chili is missing out.

I also started my first job that I actually like and am comfortable with! I'm a camgirl. That's right, Kimmy takes her clothes off for money, and literally no one is surprised. I don't work as much as I ought, but when I do work I pull in some decent money for the hours I work. Some customers are gross, but I at least get to laugh about those ones with Mags and Dutsi after. Plus, there are some cool customers, too.

Stuff's still rocky with family and I lost a lot of friends over the year. Friends who things got too awkward with to keep talking to. Friends who decided I was a terrible friend and wasn't pulling my friendweight. Stuff like that. But I've also found myself a sort of online family that's been really great from me. Apart from Mags and Dutsi, I've got a Miss in Boston that I'm planning to visit sometime this year.

To the people I was always in conflict with here, I'm sorry. Even if you were wrong, I probably could have handled that better most of the time. To everyone else, thanks for having my back and being cool friends. I hope you're all doing well.

Sounds like the HRT is working out for you, but that second puberty... ha, the first one is bad enough, am I right?

As part of the former, I think I need to apologize as well. As argumentative as I can get, I try to stick to the boundary between logic and emotion. However, that doesn't always work out, especially for the people I'm trying to argue against. Things quickly seem to spiral towards one side or the other, for one or both of us. Trying to follow a new philosophy at least, "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." Which is something I thought I was following at first, but after a brief examination of myself, I found I was believing far too much of the ideas I thought I was only entertaining myself with.

Yeah, thanks for checking in! It's always good to see a familiar face pop back in from time to time to catch up. So, Camgirling. That's kind of funny because I think the subject has now come up for about the third or fourth time for me in the last month or so. It turns out that a friend of mine is also on the Camgirl circuit and HBO just did some kind of documentary about the evolution of online erotica that talked up how Camgirling has become something of a major emerging business in the industry lately.

Anyway, in local news, this last year and now seem to be the time for weddings and burgeoning relationships. My cousin got married a few months ago rather abruptly, my former roommate proposed to his fiance and then shortly afterwards bought a house, three of my more socially promiscuous friends managed to find someone to be a bit more exclusive with, and me....well I proposed to my girlfriend of five years back in November and we're busy planning a wedding ourselves. All in all, it's been a pretty hectic time for all of us.

As for the folks surprised/amused at the camgirl thing, it's actually a really great job. I get to work from home, set my own hours, and I basically get paid an average of $20 or more per hour for dudes to tell me how hot I am. It is the ideal Kimmy career.

Thanks! It's been pretty nice. There've been hurdles and stuff here and there but I'm definitely a much happier person than I was even a year ago.
