If I were to assume anything from previous posts, I'd guess that it's that it takes a lot for Krylo to be "drunk" and, thus, he doesn't do it it often.

I am sure 151 helped this time. It's always funny when you make something simple like a rum and coke and then people aren't aware you're using 151 as the rum. They get sloppy fast.



In any case, he's my kind of drunk. Everyone is my best friend when I am drinking, and I will go out of my way to make sure they know it. I honestly believe it's because, sober or inebriated, I have little trouble finding the positive in people and really just want everyone to get along with one another. Thank you, I appreciate that you think well of me / my posting. I also am aware that I don't necessarilly make it easy for folks to really get to know much more about me. Ever since I started exploring communities online (sheesh, nearly two decades ago), I'd striven to keep my "real life" and "online life" separate, though I have been lax here and there with dropping facts (e.g. where I had been living, grad school). I do worry that it's one of the reasons why, despite liking a lot of folks I chat with / post alongside online, virtually none of these relationships have had a chance to deepen and flourish as well as they might or should.

If I were to assume anything from previous posts, I'd guess that it's that it takes a lot for Krylo to be "drunk" and, thus, he doesn't do it it often.But also because my dad was an alcoholic and there's a lot of shit there up to him committing suicide last year while drunk where I just really really don't want to be my dad so beyond it being difficult to get drunk (and I mean the amount I drank last night was not an insubstantial amount of alcohol), there's also that which keeps me from drinking.

In any case, he's my kind of drunk. Everyone is my best friend when I am drinking, and I will go out of my way to make sure they know it. I honestly believe it's because, sober or inebriated, I have little trouble finding the positive in people and really just want everyone to get along with one another. 1x Mike's Hard Blood Orange Seasonal Flavor
2x Cruzan Black Cherry Rum
3x Rum and Dr Pepper (3 shots within the two drinks)
1x another shot of the Cruzan rum, killing the bottle.

I have pretty much a full liquor cabinet, because I buy things and drink very little, so if anyone gives me a drink, I'll try it.

I've been absent from NPF for a while because A: related forum drama was becoming slightly toxic, for reasons that were partially my fault, and I needed to cool out, but more importantly B: I've recently been diagnosed with complications from kidney stones and general urinary issues that have brought me to the ER three times in the past two weeks and have generally left me a miserable shell of a person.

I just wanted to show up and say like, I really appreciated this, like you have no idea how much that particular piece of your drunk rambling made a really objectively awful week considerably better just by virtue of it existing.

When I look back at my rep, I see the few places I royally screwed up and I always feared that people genuinely disliked me after those points and I know I've screwed up even more in more recent times. I just hope people don't think I'm coming from a place of actual hate.

Nikose wasn't as great an influence as I thought either and I thought by interacting with him, I was pretty much ostracizing myself from the good majority that disliked him. Yeah I was pretty consistently around exactly 340 trophies behind you for months in a way I'd find endlessly aggravating, every time I'd check your trophy count after I crammed in a long gaming session it seemed you had sufficient intuition to only and exclusively game whenever I was gaming and it was something stupid that nonetheless irked me for some reason.

But then I got a Kidney Stone and the one pleasant side-effect was being told I basically could only play videogames and watch TV for a few weeks! So that's what I did. And now I think I'm around 210 behind? But let's face it, you're always going to be in the lead.

I'm not about to go on a whole thing like Krylo for each individual person...I am drunk but I'm not once in 8 years drunk...but suffice it to say that I couldn't be happier to see so many names pop out of the woodwork and stop by to say hi both old and current. It makes me want to create some kind of get together even though I know I really can't 'cause it's not like I can afford air fare for errrrbody!!!! I wish I could though, if I hit the lottery tonight I'd seriously be like "WHO THE F IS COMING TO THIS PARTY, OH EVERYONE, THAT'S GREAT"

You guys have all been a huge part of my life though and given how things seem to be shaking out in the past few months I've been really humbled and honestly quite happy with the way it all turned out. Maybe it takes a significant amount of alcohol to feel the love really, maybe time heals all wounds, but it ultimately does work and I'd like to thank everyone for being a part of this family. 'Cause after 11 years on this one forum, and 14+ years overall, I think we're gone a little bit beyond being just a community. We fight like idiot family members, we wear our pride on our sleeves, we realize the errors of our ways and our past (I know I for sure have.) I don't talk much to people here on a personal level but I visit every single damn day and I have never once been here in that whole time span and not seen at least one other person online. That is dedication, and that shows that the core of who we are still thrives.

Right now I could not feel happier about NPF. Brought together by 8-bit, kept together by friendship, and given a new lease by the one and only MATTHEW J SPERONI (if you gotta ask what the J stands for, you aren't ready) this place fills e with pride and just a little bit of love.

I was already contemplating that one. You got a mix of guns, magic, demons and horse people. Uh, this concept sounds familiar though, but the name of said game escapes me. Too bad only Matt is the one capable of GMing such a fantastic game since it's HIS world after all.

Both that and I think no one would want to mess with an already great setting.

The thing about The Dreadful is that the world is pretty vast and most any kooky idea that someone comes up with could be worked in somehow.

I think saying it's "like Trigun" is a bit strange though since I've looked at Trigun manga and it doesn't seem at all like Trigun.

Apart from the fact it's a comic with a Western like setting, but it's not like Trigun was the first comic ever to do that.

But, whatever works I suppose. Comparing it to something can be good to get people to notice it. Even if the comparison is really thin. It's like how everyone always compared Atomic Robo to Indiana Jones and Hellboy for no other reason than it was an adventure comic with nazis in it...or...something like that.
