So Huffpost recently released a collection of photos that they feel best reflect Canada's first few steps into the 21st century.
It's pretty neat. They've got the Tim Hortons and hockey angles covered, and the shootings and the massive government fraud and corruption covered, but Stephen Harper has a photo in which he's shown to apologize to First Nations persons, which is very unlike him (http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/stephen-harper-touts-merits-of-alberta-s-carbon-pricing-system-1.2876653):
On a public inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women: "It isn't high on our radar, to be honest."
