Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, NPF! I got you all something very special. http://i.imgur.com/qKHx9Ye.jpg (http://imgur.com/qKHx9Ye)
In seriousness, I'm not doing gifts this year, but I am doing a sort of non traditional dinner and trying my hand at cioppino (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/cioppino-recipe.html), and for breakfast I'm making shrimp and grits.
Post all your holiday discussion here!

I'm spending the Christmas day in my apartment playing with tanks, starships, pokemon, and fanficcing.

Right now? I'm watching heartwarming family fare about being open to new friends and experiences. Yes, that's right--I'm watching Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke. (Both my parents love Cheech and Chong.) Later we're all headed to a great local Mexican restaurant for a small and informal family gathering. 'S gonna be fantastic, man.

Merry everything everybody.
Now I'm going to go into a food and booze coma.
I woke up at 5:30AM today. I helped several people to poop today, and then cleaned them up afterward. Found out I had grabbed the nurse's pager this morning instead of mine, so she was getting all my bells.
Really looking to go home and opening presents with the family.

I get to watch/help my mother take care of my grandfather every day. Helping people poop is as overlooked as it is absolutely vital, and I want you to know you're doing the Lord's work here, Seil.
I hope everybody's holidays are going just as well as they can.

I watched Frozen for the first time today with my family.
Now I can read all the song parodies to the proper key and therefore have zero need to rewatch it.

Visited my dad, brought over a bunch of freshly-baked brownies and cookies. Had a nice roast dinner.

I spent (and am still spending) Christmas in the company of racist old bastards. I also have the misfortune of living with the worst of them all the time.
I hate everything.

I had a relatively good christmas. No big fights outside of one silly stupid one between my step-dad and my mah over him leaving to see his family (which everyone in the family viewed as alright because ITS CHRISTMAS and he wants to spend time with his mother/my step-grandmother)

My nephew was born on Xmas Eve. Got to see him Xmas day during the evening. Also, my dad and his wife gave me one of those Nuwave PIC's...not sure what to make of it.

It wasn't much but I had a good Christmas. May not have gotten much ($50 PSN card on the day PSN got yet another DDoS attack and Tales of Xillia 2), but at least my little sister had a good time, and that's really all I could ever ask for.
Properly should have spent some more time with the family though.

For the first time in more than a decade, I actually received a videogame from my parents as one of my Christmas presents.
...That was weird!

I know poop is important. If you don't poop for four days, you could die. And the job is rewarding. Just had a crummy morning that day. Felt much better when I got home.

I had a very pleasant Christmas. I was woken up by my daughter's customary wake-me-by-bouncing-on-my-head technique.
I only have a couple of years before she quits even pretending that she still believes in Santa so I'm enjoying the magic while it lasts :)
