It actually wasn't a jab at Impact. He isn't completely sure that Impact is being a manipulative bastard. He's wary of Impact but he has no proof that the man is evil or any such nonsense.

Ok, let's set up some clearly defined rules here:

Impact: World domination, manipulative jerk.
Renny: Idealistic optimism
Pierce: Overestimating own badassness and sexual prowess
Charlotte: Breaking people's knee caps, insulting their mothers
Matt: Wannabe manipulative jerk.

Well, Renny isn't so much just optimism... hard to explain... but his kindness is kinda like... indiscriminate charity (That he would be generous and supporting of just about anyone who wasn't trying to be Jerkface Babyslapper) . That's something that none of the characters really go for at all.

The affection did go overboard a few times though, but yeah. :3

Seems fairly accurate though. :3: (Although we have yet to see enough of Matt to define him really well aside from mostly keeping to himself.)

Not in favor. Pierce doesn't care if he's badass or not. He just does what he has to do, damned if the universe tells him he can't do it.

Also, he's not overestimating his sexual prowess at all. I mean, he managed to go several rounds with Shizuka. Keep in mind that Shizuka has demon strength and stamina. And they both left that encounter happy.

Also, I know I sometimes fudge the distinction a bit, but Pierce and Dracorion are two entirely different people.
