Um, this is more so a re-introduction, I used to browse this forum many a year ago, back when it was hosted by....some other site...and my avatar was the Tick....oh how I miss that! SCA? Not terribly good at abbreviations so could you elaborate on your question?

SCA is the acronym for the Society for Creative Anachronism. My guess is if you were a member, you would have recognized the acronym. But, they do a lot of swordfighting.

No, I'm not a member of the SCA. Most of the swordfighting I do, I do with my brother.... had been working with the wooden practice katanas but I broke his in half last time we fought..... great stress reliever.

So is any sort of LARP, really... Amtgard, SCA, Daggorhir... you should check to see if any of them are in your area, they tend to meet once or twice a week, and it really works well for stress relief. :p

I'll also note that those are only three of the many different LARPs out there. Those are just the three that I can recall off the top of my head. ^^;
