We could totally organize an RP-hour. Or two. One where people are all online and most discussion takes places. Alternately, we can all just try to get our hands on real-life adrenal boosts.

Totally with you.

Shush you. Hidden people have no opinion.

Actually, with all three Kimonos on his side Pierce would actually try to down both Atunhands and have Whitney put an Orbishriek to sleep. In fact, I think that's what I'll edit my first post into.

Who knows, maybe the NPCs will like mine better.

I'm a little iffy on having Pierce attack because, he hasn't shown it yet and probably never will, he's a little tired from sparring with Shizuka.

Geminex 04-26-2010 07:12 AM

Gah. No editing. Seriously, no significant editing, nothing on that scale. I specifically tried to accept some of Pierce's stuff, what you wrote affected what I wrote. If you edit, I edit. And I don't want to edit, so don't fucking edit.

Edit (IRRRRONY):

That's one of two battles, the other being against two legendary Pokebrids and one Ruin General.
I only just realized the implications of this. "One of two battles". Does this really refer to two separate battles? As in, the kimonos can use all their signature techniques this battle... and then use them again next battle, when we're actually fighting the Ruin general? As in, I could have Shizuka apple-sauce an Atunhand, have Mika possess the other and go Juggernaut, and have Rachel use her super-pokeshift-whatever-it's-called? If so, fuck everything I've said above, let's edit the hell out of this.

Dracorion 04-26-2010 07:14 AM

What, he's supposed to just forget that there's three demon chicks on his side? Don't worry, I'll try not to screw with what you wrote.

Actually, Shizuka and Kiyomi might not be enough for one Atunhand. Think I'll tell Whitney to attack it. Then all you have to do is add one tiny little line to your post telling Whitney to use Hypnosis.

Geminex 04-26-2010 07:16 AM

Read my edit. Then reply (to this post) normally. Edits can be annoying.
Then we can discuss everything. Then we post. Then our enemies will be filled with regret.

Might wanna save Shizuka's Applesauce and Rachel's pokeshift for later in this battle. There's a lot more baddies to kill. I agree on letting Mika possess one of the Atunhands and having it Juggernaut on the other one.

P.S.: Hurry up, too. I got ten more minutes before I gotta go.

Geminex 04-26-2010 07:23 AM

How so later in this battle? I'm under the impression that what we see is what we get. Or maybe not, considering that we haven't seen any Harpressor yet... Ok, so maybe no applesauce. But the other one, whatsitcalled. Apple slicer? Anyway, the single-target, huge-damage attack. Use that on an Atunhand, have Mika possess it. Then have the rest of our team devote their energies to killing Orbishriek.

Dracorion 04-26-2010 07:26 AM

Yeah, sounds good. And I wanna save Shizuka's Applesauce because, say we kill a bunch of Orbishrieks. Then they get replaced by Atunhands, that promptly go "I'M THE JUGGERNAUT BITCH" on our asses thanks to all the tasty corpses. Wouldn't you rather have her one-hit kill then?

So, how do we go about editing?

I'll let you come up with that. See you in NEVER!

Geminex 04-26-2010 07:41 AM

Phew. We can share credit in-character, I guess. Let's see how we'd divvy everyone up...

Shizuka: Apple-slicer on one Atunhand
Kiyomi: Mechanized cavalry (random damage to random targets, should work out fairly well)
Mika: Possess live Atunhand, use dead Atunhand corpse to become THE JUGGERNAUT, BITCH. Sorry. Stole Drac's joke there.
Rachel: Have Metagross hit Apple-sliced Atunhand, if it isn't dead yet. If it is (and I think it will be), have Metagross hit the most weakened Orbishriek.
Pierce: Have Metagross hit most weakened Orbishriek. If dead already, have it support Rayleen's Rayquaza
Rayleen: Have Rayquaza hit the second-most weakened Orbishriek
Charlotte: Super fang on least weakened Orbishriek
Impact: Hit the super-fanged Orbishriek
Pierce and Charlotte get attacks, right?: Hit Rayquaza's Orbishriek
Whitney: Put one Orbishriek to sleep

So, that'll give us:
1 Atunhand down
1 Atunhand possessed (we get a juggernat :3. I have never used that smiley before, but getting a juggernaut :3 totally justifies it.)
3 Orbishriek hopefully down (I'm guessing we'll get... two. Two dead, one weakened)
1 Orbishriek asleep.

We'll have used some signature techniques, but it should be allright. Shizuka and Kiyomi will still have their most powerful stuff, and Mika'll be controlling a Juggernaut, which'll be, like, so much fun.

So yeah, even if I hadn't noticed that it'll probably be split into two battles, I should have done this in the first place. Ah well. We live and learn. My greatest weakness is that I'm a hoarder, give me a nuclear warhead and no matter how dire the situation, I'll never use it, since I might need it more later. I completed the original half-life on normal using literally nothing but my pistol, and, when the going got tough, smgs and shotguns.

Anyway.

You can have Pierce give some of those orders, and I'll have Impact correct Pierce on whatever Pierce doesn't get.

Edit: Ok, so Drac is gone. What I'll do is assume that he agrees with what I've posted above, and re-edit my RP post, to present that as the final conclusion.

So it would end up with 920 DEF and SDEF after 3 uses of Cosmic Power on top of a very high 118 base hitpoint stat... Use Double Team 3 times, and he'll dodge all attacks 72% of the time. Use Power Trick and he'll have 100 DEF (still above average) and 920 ATTACK!
Though this wouldn't work. You can only boost your stats when they're still <1000. It could use cosmic power once, at best, if we're playing at level 100.
I'm sorry? I don't grasp what you mean. the max that my Mollesk was able to attain after 3 uses of Cosmic Power (which counts as the max of 6 uses due to Simple nature) was 920. It never went hit 1000 or higher. So everything is still "legit" even if quite very powerful. Mind you, it would have been better if he was able to max out his def/spdef with only one use of Cosmic Power, but that would be absurd. In a way, that's his own restriction.
In order to get that high in combat, he needs to spend 3 turns using Cosmic Power, a turn to use Power Trick if he plans on attacking using the boosted attack instead of the standard 100 Attack, and that's not counting an extra turn if he wants to use Trick Room, the 3 turns if he wants to use Double Team to boost evasion, and any turns that he uses Recover to regain health while he's being attacked. And all this before attacking.
So in essence, while he can get to be quite very powerful, it's almost the same as Regigigas's Slow Start ability if he wants to get as strong as possible (which is thematically appropriate given it's a Shuckle evolution which has never been a speed type unless Trick Room is used.)

EDIT: Nevermind, I realize what you mean now. Looking at Serebii, the "base stats" that everyone has been talking about in regards to their own pokemon is the average stats that the pokemons would typically recieve upon level 50 or so. Around level 100, assuming beneficial nature, Shuckles would have 614 DEF or SDEF, thus 1 use of Cosmic Power would hit 921. ^^

>_> You know, as mentioned in AB's post and thus in my PMs, Renny basically has a Rare Candy factory going on. One of the rewards could be passing out rare candies to boost pokemon power levels. :3 Assuming they have all recieved their EVs (Effort Values) from being trained before, they won't lose out for consuming them (Stuffing them with Rare Candies before training their Effort Values made for wasted stat growth).
