Old Style
 

I actually just jumped through all the registration hoops to say that while the "new" style has grown on me over the years, I actually still do prefer the original art style of The Dreadful. The look on Kit's face as she's running around taunting Burke as he fires grenade launcher rounds at her is easily one of my favorite scenes.

I am only slightly disappointed that we didn't see a 300-style Sabueso in the 300th comic.

This isn't the "300th" comic though. It's the April Fools Special. So who knows what's in store for the actual 300th update?

What would a 300style Sabueso look like? Just him in a red speedo and a cape?

Also something really weird's about to happen. If it wasn't evident I've been reading too many X-men comics, it's gonna be.

So.

That comic just happened.

Let's go through it...Sabueso is clearly keeping some secrets from Hachiko; Hachiko clearly likes what she sees; Sabueso only gets interested in sex after Hachiko reveals herself to be a murderous psychopath; Hachiko either had that paper bag just lying around somewhere for some reason or is an amazing arts-and-craftsninja with a talent for creating on the fly; Sabueso has more issues than just the apparent; Sabueso is either having a very poorly-timed flashback, or Judge Kat is like...psychic or some shit, I dunno.

Also, for one panel Sabueso's face actually approaches humanity, so there's that.
