YOU CAN DO IT! :D

Actually, that is the perfect end to 8-bit theatre. Suffering, and head exploding in real life. :D

The euphoria is too great, sorry it came to that for Matt though. There's a little bit of him everywhere, just like Black Belt :D

Worth the wait. Wasn't expecting it to be non-sprited! <3

Thank you, Brian/Matt/Jeff.

So much going on in these panels, it's quite awesome.

Remind me again, what are the names on Fighter's sword-chucks? "Stabby" and "-la-"?

Thank you, guys!

I've enjoyed the comic massively over the years. I must say, you ended it very well. Congratulations!

Great job. It was a rather calming read and it wrapped everything up nicely. So many neat little touches that you see each time you read it too. (Law ninja!)

I've been with 8bit theater since I honestly can't remember. Episode 200something. Every 6-8 months I'd randomly chill out with a fresh bag of Doritos and spend an entire weekend reading it again. I recently re-read it shortly after episode 1224 was posted, and honestly, it seemed a lot quicker to read through (I guess because I knew when it ended and what all of the major plot points were).

Great comic. Thanks for all the laughs.

Like a lot of other people I haven't logged in in a while, but I had to stop by to say great job.

I've been reading this comic since virtually the beginning, halfway through high school. I've since graduated from college and moved out into the real world.

Though I feel like another part of my childhood just died, it was a great ride. Thanks for all the laughs.

I just clicked my 8-Bit Theater bookmark out of habit and gijrggfrigjrgj HOLY SHIT. That was.. a beautiful little surprise. Every last panel was beautiful and touching.

I figured the yellow guy in panel 1 is the 'dragoon' of 8-bit theater, so is that Kain in the inn? And if so, why is he appearing here?

I have to say, I'm depressed that there's no real resolution for black mage, but I guess that's what I was expecting. Am I wrong in assuming that he's the character that most people identify with? The fact that he is still bitter and miserable, in spite of having the most cheerful friend in the world, is somehow a very significant, and very sad. He is the only one who truly got nothing out of his experiences. No power, no glory, no satisfaction, no progress, no character development, no 'girl,' no respect or concern for others, nothing.

Anyone else find it amusing how Black Mage is perhaps an author avatar regarding certain feelings toward Final Fantasies VII and up? VII is lame, VIII somehow even lamer, IX sounds interesting, X... speaks for itself, XI is a snorefest and everything after that isn't worth the effort.
