I vote Charmander. This is aided since Charmander seems to be the winner anyways.

You need to get an Abra somewhere along the line to, just so we can watch you suffer during your attempts at catching it.

One time on a run through of Blue I just said "fuck it" on my first Abra attempt and threw a pokeball at it before trying anything else.......and caught it. I sat there in shock for like five minutes.

That's pretty much all you CAN do with Abra. Unless its Teleport fails, which only happened for me once, but I ran with it.

Then you have to deal with Magikarping the thing until it learns something that doesn't instantly remove you from battle.

Nikose, if you get a Beedril and name it Kamina or Simon, I will personally add the glasses to the sprite.
