I suppose it's possible that I'd seen it in the papers before, Gumshoe, but I suspect I may have automatically dismissed such news as belonging in a tabloid. http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/a8368e82.gif I mean I'll accept spirit channeling, flying magicians, and hereditary stage magic, but a man has to draw the line somewhere, right? Eheh... http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/2845cdbd.gif (Where are my esteemed colleagues? I don't want to go it alone against Ms. von Karma and Judge Godot!) |

(Brr. I don't care if I'm already dead, bees are just one of those things that never stop being scary) http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/v...-thinkingb.gif In any case, the fact that none of scientists at the facility had bothered with anything like a backup power supply for the cameras or an additional form of surveilance. It seems that if I were dealing with a force as unpredictable as weaponized killer bees, I'd want to take every safety precaution possible. http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/v...-thinkinga.gif I mean, really, there's probably a whole section in the Mad Scientist's Handbook devoted to preventing bee-related deaths. A subheader at least... |
Now now Franzsika. We will soon have our chance to ruthlessly and mercilessly tear apart the Defence

Hey guys, i brought the... Did you start without me? http://www.court-records.net/animati...ats%28b%29.gif This will look great in the records I'm sure... http://www.court-records.net/animati...ent%28b%29.gif Now, Detective. When Mr. Man was arrested, were any bee stings visible? It would seem to me that if he had been in a building full of killer bees, he would have been stung. More so when the power to this "Mindhive" was cut off. |

I have one additional question, Gumshoe: http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/ef6d6d34.gif It's been noted by yourself and Judge Godot that the evil science honey is delicious. Does the honey have any particular effect on humans from contact or ingestion? Addiction, neurotic behavior, that sort of thing? |
http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/f...iska-hmphb.gif I suppose I'll endure this foolish prattling, for now. But I'm keeping the whip. |

(Why does she scare me so much... yet I kinda want her to use it on me.... I'm not a freak! Wait I'm in my own thoughts, she can't hear me) |

http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...eadscratch.gif You'd have to ask NonCon about all that. All I can say for sure is that, if I remember my grade school science classes, bees make honey from their nectar, and the nectar is somehow used as part of the control process in the cannon, but I don't know if the honey has anything to do with that. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...-thinkingb.gif Well, a lot of us were getting stung that day so we didn't think to check. Now that I think about it, though, I don't think I saw him looking like he was getting stung by anything in the security videos. |

Thank you, Detective. I have no further questions at this time. Apollo, Mia? |

There's one point that still puzzles me. The police claim that the suspect left honey-smeared handprints all over the scene, and yet the security cameras show no evidence of him getting stung. You'd think the bees would be a little more upset with him considering he (supposedly) broke into their hives and stole their food. Is it possible the suspect had access to some sort of counter-agent that somehow made him less of a target to the bees. And is possible to trace the physical or chemical makeup of this agent (if found) to a possible supplier? |
