npf is poor

Update: with the money we had so far and $600 of our own we were able to get one of her legs done. That leaves $2.3k for the other leg but that's not as urgent with one leg finished.

She just had the surgery yesterday and is at home recuperating. The hardest thing for her seems to be that, with her need to heal, we have to keep her away from the other dogs which means staying in a (admittedly, spacious) dog tent. . . Thing.

When I checked on her a bit ago she got up and was even wagging her tail. . . Until she fought her way out and I think tired herself out/aggravated her hip in the process.

Point is she seems to be doing okay considering they cut out the ball joint of her hip (and carved up her knee). Physical therapy starts in two weeks to build muscle and ensure she has full range of motion.

Glad she's doing a little better.

Dog... tent?

I know very well just how much a dog can mean to someone, so I'm immensely glad to hear that your doggy is doing better.
