Because, there has been at least one past attempt to make subjects. It didn't work out well.

I believe the consensus among those still trying to create subjects, and I have to agree with the notion, is that we have more mass for the subjects. before, they were piddly little things. It's no wonder they did nothing. I think we have enough mass to create something that was our original size, if we wanted.

Whether or not this is a worthwhile idea, though, I don't know.
