UHF
That's Stanley's Clubhouse! |
Correct title please! You'll like half right.
What the fuck, Vidiot from UHF is the proper title and is much better cause it got the word vidiot in it! It's clever see.
I didn't even know it was just called UHF elsewhere- stupid Americans need your titles shortened! Take it away Archbio. |
Arch's not American.
Hate on the right country. |

Nobody cares about your silly little border disputes.
Hmm I've defineatly seen this film, actor looks like Jimmy Stewart- initial thought was Mr Smith goes to Washington but female hair colour is wrong- I think about this. Edit: I think I vaguely remember she dies it- Mr Smith goes to Washington. |
It's not Mr Smith goes to Washington.
Still roughly 24 hours to go. Neither the flick or the picture are actually that obscure. |
I know the picture but I just can't put the movie to it, and it's really bugging me.
I think everyone is bamboozled by that bowtie.
The woman looks like Judy Garland, but I could be wrong.
Doesn't look anything ike Garland to me.
The guy doesn't look like Jim Stewart either, blah. It looks like it's in a private room in on a train though? So annoying :/
Yeah it bugging me too cause it does look familiar. I just want to know answer now.
I think I recall this scene, but I don't remember the movie... I think it was a mystery....
PS: No one answered mine back on page 15, so I'll just tell you that it was the 10th Kingdom |

Color coded for your convenience. |
For the sake of sport I'll give a hint for the last hour that's left:
It's a Hitchcock flick. |
I'd have to go for either Lifeboat, Vertigo or Birds, since that's all I've seen. But let's go with "The Man Who Knew Too Much."
It's lady vanishes! I knew I recognized the bowtie!
I typed lifeboat while reading your lifeboat seil...I'm so dumb sometimes |
Krogoth has got it!
It was The Lady Vanishes. |
Goddamnit that ticked me off, I knew the bowtie and the face and I just couldn't put it where I had seen it.
http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/a...olf/movie6.jpg |
I'm going to wild guess the original Ocean's Eleven.
yep your correct
I might have glimpsed that scene once, because I never saw the movie.
Next up: http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/2...1231276704.jpg |
Hudsucker Proxy?
It was indeed the corporate cosmology of Arthur Jensen!
Take it away, Seil. |
I haven't seen The Lady Vanishes but scene seemed so familiar. I think I'm going crazy.
Really sorry here, I've just been bogged down with work and school this weekend. Here we go:
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u...ch/Cheater.jpg |
That looks like that stupid Toy Soldier movie, whats it called...
Small Soldiers? |
Small Soldiers
Krog got it first.
Small soldiers
Edit: Protip- refreshing browser window before posting is ace. |
For some reason I saw "guy and girl on a motorcycle in the woods" and immediately thought "Twin Peaks." I quickly came to my senses.
Hahaha, good shit
Dungeons and Dragons.
Yes, I am ashamed I know that. |
haha, I thought what was a horrid movie and picked that then wondered who'd want to admit to knowing what movie it is.
Truth be told I did google it just for confirmation.
If it's ok I'll post a pic in the morning when I'm actually awake. It's 1.30 here and I need sleep right now. EDIT; Sorry about the delay, busy day, picture NOW!; http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...attle/pic4.jpg |
Drop Dead Fred.
Goddamnit Krylo! Yeah, you got it again.
Border breakingly large image .
Mutant Chronicles
Yup.
God, that was a horrible movie, saw it on a plane and wanted that time back.
http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/a...olf/movie8.jpg |
The worst part is that it COULD have been decent. Had a pretty good acting cast, with the dude who played the Punisher up through John Malkovich, and Ron Perlman. Had some decent cinematography as well.
But the special effects and the writing were both just terrible. |
Wild Guess: Mighty Ducks
Slapshot! Damn I need to track down a DVD of that one.
Meister wins! It is Slapshot, the greatest Hockey Movie EVER! Also the 25th Anniversey DVD was released 2 years ago, you should be able to find it somewhere hopefully. It's hard to come by even in Canada at times :/
Nosferatu!
Shadow of the Vampire
Honestly, I realized I might have been tricked a little bit after my guess.
And so you have. Left: Willem Dafoe, right: Eddie Izzard. Wigmund's got it!

Apologize for the size, but it's the best I could do. This movie is apparently not that popular. |
In the Nick of Time.
Easily googlified, but I really just remember the movie. |
Indeed it is.
A guess, but it seems to fit - Hot Fuzz?
It fits, and that's what it is!
Just based on the esthetics I'm going to take a wild guess and say Mulholland Drive.
You've finally stumped me Meister. I got no clue.
It looks so much like interior decoration from some David Lynch movie.
Can it be Lost Highway? Edit: I'm allowing myself another guess because it's freaking torturing me. |
It is indeed Lost Highway, and after posting I myself was surprised how instantly recognizable David Lynch's interior sets are. I would've given the win to you anyway if no one else said Lost Highway, because Mulholland Drive is close enough that I think it oughta count.
Archbio's turn! |

The Frighteners
I should have known someoneone would recognize Special Agent Milton Dammers rapidly!
Krogoth's turn. |
It's the damn hair. As soon as I saw I knew what movie it was!
http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/a...olf/movie9.jpg |
Miracle Max from The Princess Bride?
Yep!
Warning: Not an American production this time:
http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/984/12526326664.jpg Edit: Time's up, so I suppose the next Flick is up for grabs! Edit: It was Il Gattopardo/The Leopard/Le Guépard. Burt Lancaster in the foreground and Sicily in the background. I wouldn't call it obscure, but I guess it was dirty pool. |
Tropic Thunder
Correct! Though that was an easy one. :P Gogogo!
