you know I first read that opening sentence as "Hitler was a revolutionary racist" and didn't bat an eyelash.

Also, I love conservapedia's referencing. Near-nonexistant.

Thank you. I definitely didn't think it was Darwinism they were supporting. Just didn't remember the name.

Quite so my good sir! But I believe sensible men will be able to come to an appropriate solution over tea and biscuits.

Don't put new grape juice into old grape juice skins.

Oh sweet Jesus......what in the name of God did they do to the Bible?!

You know... reading that, reading them talk about "liberal bias" reminds me of something.
Specifically, Reg Shoe, appearing in "The Night Watch" by Terry Pratchett. If you recall (or, even if you don't), Reg has embraced the concept of being a "Revolutionary". He's identified the enemy, identified himself and is under the impression that he's part of an ongoing struggle to defeat this enemy. Vimes, on the other hand, recognizes that though he seems himself caught in a revolutionary struggle, he's not struggling. And that in turn is because the enemy he's identified is actually far more concerned with the real revolutionaries, the ones who don't wear sashes and yell out slogans, but the ones who plan and coordinate and have little meetings where everythign is assessed. Conservapedia is Reg Shoe. They see "liberals" as a threat, see themselves as a key component of a struggle against this threat. But they're delusional. Because they're not going to have an impact, this is just them putting on a website what everybody knows. It's comforting to them, I suppose, but I won't have an impact. They're practically masturbating to their own values, and realizing this significantly decreases the desire to set the site on fire.

From the bible translation project:
"Socialistic terminology permeates English translations of the Bible, without justification. This improperly encourages the "social justice" movement among Christians."

I don't really know what to say.

Also, that little excerpt was mind numbing. I sympathize. :sweatdrop
